Final Fantasy XIV | The Bowl of Embers (With Duty Support)

Was curious abou the new Duty Support option so I gave it a try. Full thoughts below:

Overall, I think Duty Support is a great addition to the game! It allows players to experience the game without the pressure of having to perform to other players’ wishes (like tanks doing big pulls when they’re not comfortable) or helps players who experience anxiety playing with others.

While people will say “XIV is an MMO, you have to play with others”, there should always be an element of allowing players to unwind and play the game without stress and this is the perfect way to do it. At the moment, Duty Support is in ARR content but will be expanded to the other expacs over the next few patches (ShB and EW have trusts where this all started) so it’s going to make the game truly accessible to all players and that is gonna be a great thing.
