The scenes of comedic relief in Shadowbringers have been amazing while staying on pace and appropriate. It really feels like FFXIV's potential of presentation and storytelling has been realized in this expansion, and still continues to evolve. I can't WAIT for Endwalker, holy shit…

So, in regards to Hydaelyn, it has been shown in the past that it is possible to block the connection between Her and those She is connected with. Midgardsormr was able to do so, though this was likely because of the covenant he had signed to allow his children sanctuary on the star after Omega's assault destroyed their homeworld. But seeing the purple version of the crystal (which I'm still convinced is Zodiark) happened towards the end of ARR, while in every other interaction with Hydaelyn that showed the Mothercrystal, it was still perfectly fine (such as after the Antitower). I definitely think something is actively blocking Hydaelyn from direct contact, while Her base Primal instincts are still able to reach out and create new Warriors of Light.
Also, random theory that just popped into my head, but what if the only reason Sharlayan's non-intervention policy exists is because an Ascian is the head of the Forum, and they're keeping that in place simply to keep Sharlayan out of the equation of thwarting their plans? Granted, given this is Sharlayan, it's probably going to be EXTREMELY difficult for an Ascian to hide their presence there
I just wanted to say that I've binged watched your videos and since I love FFXIV, they always bring a smile to my face! I love how genuine your reactions are and just your overall appreciation of this game (and other games too!) Don't let haters bring you down! I have laughed and cried with you.
