i made a square enix account and tried to log in on steam and it wont let me make a new account or play the god damn demo. this is really annoying. it would be REALY NICE is when you made an account on their site they mention oh hey if you want this on steam make everything there, cause if you dont your fucked and cant make a new trial before you even download the fucking game.
is there a way to get the first page to reset i cant get shit to work ill make a new god damn account if i have to wont even let me do that.
if you try to use a account you already made you are fucked, which is crazy i am not going to give my info to another god damn company there is no way to start it over after you say you have an account

None of these prompts showed up for me, it just went straight to the launcher. I cannot start the Demo of FF14 have tried almost everything I can think of with the help of a friend to no avail. If anyone can help me figure out why this is happening it would be much appreciated.
I think downloading the free trial from steam is what messed me up.

why do my steam only shows FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Free Trial ? Steam dont show the full game nor the expansion since I want to buy the full game not the trial only.
After creating the account, you should receive another email to download the game for trial, use that link from your email to download the game instead of steam. Worked for me, hope it does for someone else 🙂
Is there any way to skip the initial step and head straight to the login? I had created an account years ago and obviously uninstalled/formatted etc.

I've done this and I'm getting an error before I can complete the registration. It's sooo annoying trying to make an account for this game to play on Steam. I had no trouble making a normal account off steam for it but then I noticed when I buy the game it'll be a lot cheaper to do so on Steam so 🙁
