me who finally crafted my lv90 gatherer/crafter sets yesterday feeling super proud of myself: oh. I am but a mewling babe in the face of such power.

Good to know good video, I messed up mine as well I still thought it was with gatherer so geared up all my retainers with the purple scrips ilvl 570 gears but it's okay I have my main and 2 more alts with gatherer retainers so thats still plenty of items to gather.
Even his retainers are over melded! That shows why he is the Undisputed Supreme God of Crafting!
I learned about this change after I melded all 8 of my gathering retainers with gathering… I don't know when I'll feel like fixing it. Sort of annoyed.

My guys have 3353 using only 8s and 6s. this does not increase the level 90 missions ( star quartz and alien onion) but i can live with that for now

Any reason why you still use the lvl 80 accessories on the Botanist vs the lvl 90 ones? Or was it just to reuse already made gear?
Only retainer I have at 90 at the moment is my FSH and I don't really need 30 or 40 of any kind of fish really so I just gave it enough gear to run the highest level venture. But when I get my MIN/BOT to 90, this guide shall prove very useful. Thanks! ^_^
Also, quick question: does the Perception stat increase the chances of retainers bringing back more rare items from field exploration ventures? like the minions for instance. I got the crabe de la crabe but I don't have the ones from MIN or BOT yet. 😛
