Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Limit Breaks

Once again, with a new expansion upon us, I couldn’t help but do the exact same thing I did last time; upload a video showing off all of the limit breaks, including the two new jobs added with the expansion. And…one bonus, I suppose. This one’s got a bit more fluff at the start, but I’m hopeful that it’s appropriate.

Explorer mode allowed for some variety, but it does make them feel a little more…anticlimactic. Still, the freedom to use Gpose for these was really worth it. I had wanted to have some friends doing the Limit Breaks for more variety, but I ended up scrapping that when our schedules didn’t line up. Might be fun to post that at a later date I suppose.

Time stamps below; click on Sage’s if you just want to jump in, or if you’re only looking for a specific job. Reaper is the last one.

Sage: 0:37
Scholar: 0:54
White Mage: 1:11
Astrologian: 1:29
Gunbreaker: 1:46
Dark Knight: 1:57
Paladin: 2:10
Warrior: 2:23
Dancer: 2:35
Bard: 2:51
Machinest: 3:08
Black Mage: 3:25
Summoner: 3:45
Red Mage: 4:05
Samurai: 4:24
Monk: 4:44
Ninja: 5:01
Dragoon: 5:17
Reaper: 5:33

I had also wanted to include Hien’s Limit Break from the Ghimlit Dark, but he refused my generous offer, so I refused him a spot in this video.

As for the music, I initially just used the dungeon boss theme, but didn’t care for playing it on loop for six minutes. The first track is the field battle theme, then the mid dungeon boss theme, then the final dungeon boss theme.

  1. Awesome editing. Thanks for this. I might suggest doing a few from…a bit further of an angle (some are kinda hard to see at the angle they're at, contrast SGE or SCH vs AST [which is at a farther camera position]), though in some cases (WHM), it's cool to get the close up since it might be easy to miss what the character's doing otherwise.

Either way, cool to see the full list updated, and I love how you work Seat of Sacrifice's Warrior of Light into the mix. 😀

  2. I understand that its a mmo and goes under real time, but i really wish they would go a little more outlandish with their t3 limit breaks, some were great like red mage and astro since their moves fit pretty well and duration was not cut as short along with burst damage effects but some needs little more duration and epicness especially coming from watching LB's from ff15, nonetheless great vid and very well put together editing and transitioning.

  3. Whoever had the idea for samurai's LB3 definitely played DMC3, DMC4 or DMC5. Cuz they knew, just do some Virgil shit and it'll be a banger. Tho Summoner was disappointing, they had a chance to make your 2 biggest summons do a duet together and unleash a dual blast and they didn't. Who wouldn't like to see Bahamut and Phoenix rise up, break away, and shoot a mega blast.

  4. remember: Porta Decumana (the ultimate weapon fight from old Praetorium, now as its own trial) provides a free LB3 while Gaius orchestrates his finisher
all you have to decide is who does the big bang 😀

  5. All these years, and it still kills me how some of these turned out. How have they not toned down Vermillion Scourge yet? Why do Land Waker and Dark Force look like damage skills? Why are Doom of the Living and Teraflare so anticlimactic and basic? And while I get the reference to FF7, with the de-emphasis of turrets to MCH these days (since upgrades to Queen now), Satellite Beam almost seems out of place. Mustadio's sniper rifle (now the PvP LB) would fit better.

That said, Gunmetal Soul looks dope and Last Bastion, though pretty basic, is very fitting. Like "I am the wall to protect my friends" cliché fitting. And Techne Makre is also kind of a flashbang, but it gets less hate than RDM because it's mass rez. Though as a SGE main, I wish it was another color besides gold. It gives me flashes back to Aurum Veil…

  6. I really love playing dragoon but i feel like the lb 3 misses something, the dragon head just standing idle for a few seconds feels a bit akward maybe making it roar or spit fire would make it one of the best in the game.

  8. Took a break after hitting omni combat jobs in october and upgraded to a better laptop (my old one was an office one that only met minimum not even reccomended at most reached 30 fps) and finally returning to the game after work tonight when it arrives. Love these lb3s and had to rewatch to get hyped
