I remember how angry with myself I was about all the wasted time trying to figure out what weapon he has in the teaser trailer.
In the teaser you could see him sitting on that throne and you could see a part of the weapon which looked exactly like a weapon from FF9+11 (and some more)
There was also a cutscene in game which said the weapon is in the room (a room littered with maybe 100 weapon models from the game, but it wasnt there and I wasted like 2 hrs analyzing that quest cutscene).
And then when this cinematic came out they simply swapped the weapon.. they altered the footage.. so all my guesses were for naught.
Estinien Stardiving off the back of one of the first brood might be the coolest thing I've ever seen in a video game.
It's actually unreal how much I'm looking forward to killing Asahi again.

I hate how the trailer is better than the game. Goddammit 900 hours wasted! Well maybe not wasted its a damn good game 8/10 but the trailer makes it seem like a masterpiece.

Damn….. This whole trailer moved me to tears. I still have a lot to catch up on as I'm in Stormblood right now, but to see that they are involving the moon is straight racking my mind!! My very first FF game I played was FF4, so to see the moon now playing a major role in this amazing game is just too much… I hope, wish, freaking pray that we get to fight a redone Zeromus! He was already ugly to begin with from the SNES…… Could you imagine him redone for this??? He's got to be in there somewhere! He's from the moon!! And for those who don't know that name or what he looks like, look it up! He freaky! I'm ready to rock this expansion!!! Well, once I get thru the stuff before of course

I just realized something about this trailer…we progress from unknown steps into a new world (either from the 1.0 journey or every 2.0-onward player), and progressively go into each expansion in order.
The twins for ARR, Estinien for Heavensward, Zenos for Stormblood, our Scions fresh from The First in their Shadowbringers outfits.
All the leifmotifs. All the settings. All the build-up. An even a subtle Cecil nod with the WoL going from ending the Shadowbringers trailer as Dark Knight to being a Paladin on the fucking moon to cement "you FF4 fans are about to get some FOOD."
This feels like everything is going to end. AND YET IT'S ONLY AN <ARC> THAT'S ENDING.

I think among everything else what I love is it's Emet's VA doing the narration in the trailer. Our boy Emet is still watching the WOL ;.;
One of my favorite moments in this trailer is each shot of the main characters near the end. You know the story each one has been through to get to this point and that each one has a pivotal part to play in the final act.
Plays shadowbringer…How can they possibly top this.

In all my years of playing A Realm Reborn I believe that this expansions trailer is the best I have ever seen. The music is great. I really enjoyed Shadowbringers due to the fighting and showing off the armor for the dark knight. This trailer outdone that with the scene of when the dragoon appeared. I can't wait to play the early access tomorrow.
