I'm so glad they reigned it in after the Shadowbringers field battle music. It was a nice song to hear sparingly, but it became so grating to hear it over and over every time you fought something. This I feel like I wouldn't get sick of hearing a lot.
Can you loop the mid boss and final boss battle themes too? This is awesome!
A huge improvement over Shadowbringers. Nothing wrong with a little electric guitar from time to time, but this is easier to listen to over longer stretches of time.

Ah this song brings me back to FFXI, has the same style instrumentation which I love.
I think what makes this such a good field battle theme is that it has this sense of hope and triumph to it. It just feels right. Every fight matters.

I love Soken and I loved Shadowbringers, but I wasn't the biggest fan of its field battle theme, mostly because of the first 15 seconds or so 😅
This one is great though, I'll definitely be leaving field battle BGM on the entire expansion this time!
The main melody reminds me of Septette for the Dead Princess from Touhou. It's like a one note difference lol

Parts of this remind me of the field battle theme from ARR. If so its a nice call back to where it all began.
Yup, this is my new fav expansion field battle theme. SB was my favorite as it was vert stylized in that it represented Doma and Ala Mhigo. SHBs was good, but it kind of got old for me upon repeat listens. This one really invokes not just Endwalker's or one expansions implied themes, but Final Fantasy as a whole, at least that's the way I see it.
I love how it has that classical FF battle theme rhythm which is either 3-3-3-3-2-2 beat like here, or 6-2-6-2. For example of 3-3-3-3-2-2 listen to Blinded by Light from FF13 soundtrack, and 6-2-6-2, FF6 battle theme is a good example. It's also way more orchestral than ShB which also adds to that vibe. The strings in this track sounds so good!
