This was my first ever FFXIV expansion experience and I loved it so much. I’m so sorry for the late upload. Its been hard editing lately because of me streaming everyday and being at the shop every weekend to prepare for my ESTY shop reopening. SORRY! I hope you all enjoy my playthrough. I know I make a lot of mistakes and cry a lot but I did my best and I feel proud of myself for sticking with the game. Its made me feel more confident while playing these type of games and I mean.. Its Final Fantasy. Its my favorite series of all time. I love my turn based games with a passion but this game really was enjoying. I cried a lot when Zenos died. I don’t know why. I saw him alone there and it made me emotional and think of a close friend of mine who passed away and I know its not relevant to her but it still made me feel sad. I love Zenos. He did a lot of bad things but his character was 10/10. Thanks to everyone also for watching my streams and cheering me on! Much love to everyone and I hope you are all well. Come stop by streams when you get a chance!! I know I don’t play FFXIV fulltime but I will start again when 6.1 is out!

I have seen that other streamers have had a rough time editing this section because it is so emotional. It didn’t surprise me that you would and should take your time with this.

I loved your playthrough so much. It was such an enjoyable & emotional journey following you! If you're thinking about what to do next in FFXIV. I'd suggest you to try Sorrows of Werlyt ShB trial series. The feels are extremely strong in that one.

While I'm fairly confident Zenos is dead (they focus on his chest for a good 5 seconds to show you he is clearly no longer breathing) you can't say he didn't go out happy. He was mentally unwell, a sociopath, a stranger to others (he even says he doesn't understand others purpose in living) and at the end he dies giving you the one thing he can give you which is a good fight. I also think through dynamis, he willed the teleporter to take you away. You can say a lot about Zenos, but he isn't a sore loser. He wanted you to live and keep fighting and get stronger because that's the only thing he admires.
I know it's kinda unfair because it's a MMORPG and it has the advantage of a ever-expanding story, but the Zodiark-Hydaelyn saga (I like to call it Crystal Saga) was the best in the entire franchise. And the ending was the most Final Fantasy-esque thing that ever Final Fantasy-ed.
And I'm glad they stormed Amano's house and kidnapped him to draw the Trial bosses.

I loved these playthroughs. This video made me cry again. XIV is my favorite final fantasy game an next you'll play the PR of my favorite classic FF game VI. I'm so excited for that stream but not sure if I'm emotinally ready lol
I know I already said how I'm very happy that you as a more traditional console-based FF player gave 14 a chance, but now that you finally seen this story in it's entirety, I'm very ecstatic that you had such a grand time and at a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
If I could comment to add anything here, I do agree with you about the double standard when people say "It's just a game." To an extent of course, but when you consider how these experiences and lore not only sustain individuals, but help them through a lot of life events and dark times, that connection has to be respected and acknowledged. It was even discussed it in my university days in terms of if those kind of fictional experiences rival lore & storytelling from ethnic groups (especially since I make the comparisons from my IRL Native American heritage). So don't let anyone tell you any different. This game, the characters, the setting, and the people that you have met and had positive experiences with… those are always worth it in the end and you have every right to Christian them as a part of your smile!!! Congratulations on finishing Endwalker!!!
The whole ending is so FF its nuts. Feels like such a great part of the series. 😄 Makes me excited about what he can do with 16!

Zenos is fake ancient, they are practically immortal, it's possible he still alive, even if he die.
I love XIV but I would love it even more if it wasn't an MMO, tbh.
