  1. Altho some part i feel a bit rushed, everything else is perfect. I never cried this much when playing video games , especially they manage to execute the high risk move perfectly and that ending? holy shit. The bad news is how they gonna top this LOL

  2. 8.8/10 for me. There's so much good in this expansion. SE kept the second half of the story out of marketing, and that second half is where I started to feel pacing issues, mixed feelings, and the desire to get back to what was going on in the first half. Certain elements that were built up for years become complete after thoughts. The comedy is great but started to become too much towards the end. The ending is just a pure amazing spectacle despite pulling a card that might piss off some people, yet make others happy. Soken is starting to become the next Nobou if he keeps up what he is doing. The music is phenomenal.
The dungeons and trials were a blast, and there are just so many good character moments. Follow quests are just pure candy for anyone who enjoys taking screen shots, I spent a good half hour taking fun pics with a certain NPC.
In the end, it's the character moments with the Scions that are the true gem of the game, and I can't wait see more in the future.

  3. Endwalker is a 10/10 for me, 7 years and almost 7000 hours of gaming and never regretted it a bit. Best video game story of all time and the refined gameplay over the years of expansions is truly incredible.

  4. I have enjoyed it a lot. About to do the final quest but I have to say the first half is not as good as the second half. Zone 5 & 6 carry the expansion tbh. There’s a lot of cool moments but I think it suffered a lot from pacing issues. I liked the 4th zone but it gets whacky and weird really quick. Overall is a pretty fun expansion. I just wished it was a bit more focused both in tone and pacing.

  5. I guess this guy skipped side quests like most ppl playing MMOs. XIV is basically an RPG with MMO mechanics. From design to gameplay, there are more to things that would work and not with the game.

It’s weird to me that ppl keep saying the dungeon simplicity design when it’s the community who actually make it like that (or else the dungeon queue system isn’t going to work out).
