Made 60m but should have been 200m, the market collapsed in 1 hour and undercutting was ridiculous, you had to check your retainer every 30 seconds just to sell for a fraction of what it should be, they made this shit too easy to craft and it showed, the mats were more expensive then the fucking crafts >.< exaggerating a bit but damn it was awful
Damn. screwed up my craftsman stat. The macros aren't working for me for the Classical gear even with the food buffs.
Do you think they will change crafting after the feedback from the accessibility issues in a future patch? I hadn;t the time to prepare for the launch but it seems disastrous and even as someone who wasn't ready am greatly disappointed how things turned out for others and myself for future gear.

I'm managing to macro ** mats to 100% HQ with only VIII materia and triple melds + Chili Crab HQ
How are you getting to 675 CP, I have maxed CP on like everything and like 100 less.
I feel like SE is going to respond in some way to mediate this situation with crafters uproar, since it seemed to really trigger some and there are articles written about it. We all know they wanted to make it more accessible, and they accomplished that. Now that they leveled out the playing field they can make some recipes for those with serious melds and crafting objectives, or some kind of system like the relic crafting tools (cringe) to please the mid and hard core crafters. Change is coming so I will enjoy the cheap melding style for now 😆 thanks for sharing this video, I will follow your tips. Love how much materia you were selling!
I wish some people could hear themselves, "Aw man, I only made 60 million instead of the 500mil I should have made!" like…boohoo? You realize SE KNEW they had a bunch of people coming in from wow and starting fresh? We have been playing the game since launch, our wallets are adjusted to show that. An actual new player would have no chance of getting into the market as it is, this HAD to be done to crafting, at least for a while, so the new players wouldn't be cut off from the economy. I'm sure you guys and you're multiple retainers holding maxxed out gil will be fine. Crafters, adjust.
If this doesnt work for some people: You cannot do this macro without draught or soul of the crafter, you need a total of 570 CP at base and max CP melds cap out at 561.
juste a simple question are you trying to cap all your 9 retainers or are you selling your gils ?^^
Thanks for the video. Your 70 specialist macro isn't working for me though. I'm running out of CP so I can't use Byregot's Blessing. I have more than 648 CP after food.
Love your videos and they have helped me for a long time. Is it okay to share with you my cheaper then cheap set up with you and your fans here?
For me the biggest annoyance is having to depend on the food.
I don't sit and craft continuously. I queue for dungeons, check the MB, see maybe 1-2 items worth crafting and want to craft them.
So have to pop food just to craft 1 item is such a waste.
The no of crafters has become insane now.
While everyone here and out there keeps saying they only made 20-30mil I could not even make 1 mil because of the undercutting.
Post something for 600k, few secs later there are 5 more and price has gone to 400k.
This was my experience with this patch.
Check MB, see something selling for 500k, craft it, go to post and see the price has reached 300k. Post it anyway but still does not sell due to the numbers of undercuts.
Prices for the new 580 combat gear have reached 120k now. Still going lower.
Gave up on crafting for now.

The specialist macro on your site is wrong, on the second half of the macro it has trained finesse twice before great strides, but the same macro you show in your video only has a single trained finesse at that point in the macro. I was trying to figure out why I kept running out of CP despite having the correct food and draught on and the proper base CP, well that was why.
Thanks bro. I intended to be fully pentamelded BIS for 6.05, but life events happened and I wasn't able to prep and play on release. Seeing your video detailing that the crafts are easy, and with no need to have the best melds to craft with NQ mats, I'm just going to go with cheap melds until at least 6.1 so I can sell any materia I can farm up now while they're still hot.
I dont know a lot of crafters, but seems like in the 35D macro if you have luck and precise touch pops breaks the crafting bc the durability. Just happened to me but i dont know if was bc of that.

How did you get your CP up so high? I capped all my gear's CP and I'm at 576 and not 675…
