  1. Some notes on the Housing section of this video
All housing plots have a set price, based on the plot location and the plot size, each plot size would have what you could describe as 3 "pricing tiers" which are set by SE, plots rotate if a player does not interact with thier home in 45 days I believe, or if a player/FC move to a different open plot.
Small plots will cost between 3,000,000 and 3,375,000 gil
Medium plots range between 16,000,000 and 20,000,000 gil
large plots range between 40,000,000 to 47,500,000 gil

After you buy the plot you must then purchase a permit, these also vary between house sizes, which is an additional cost

Otherwise you were correct, houses have items you can place in your garden "Outdoor furnishings" and inside your house "indoor furnishings" (these are not interchangable which is a slight limitation) different plot and home sizes also have different numbers of garden and interior item slots that you can place down, for interiors: smalls 200, medium 300, large 400, outdoor slots I believe are 20, 30 and 40 in the same order.

It was very recently announced that they will in furture Dawntrail patches be allowing players to have any interior sizes within any plot size(for a gil fee) so soon only garden size and plot location will be an issue for home buyers!

and just to clear up the wards, some are for private owners only, some are for FC only and some are mixed between FC and private!

A small anecdote regarding housing for me, I play on Omega which is a heavily RP focused server in the EU and houses above the small size get snapped up quickly and lottery pools for winning the large houses more often than not run well over 100 entrants, in our search for even just a medium plot my FC took 1 full year to win a plot, trying most weeks to grab one!

And again, this LP is very well done, I especially like the weaving of the lore into in and the pace not being breakneck "WE HAVE TO GET TO THE "GOOD STUFF" ASAP" and a bit more aware and detail orientated, wonderful stuff! Thanks for reading all this if you made it.

  2. On the sightseeing logs not working, I'm 99% sure you must have some kind of plugin that's showing you their locations because the orbs are smaller and more like 2D images of the later expansion ones – in the vanilla client these locations are all invisible. Additionally in ARR you're supposed to complete the first 20 spots which will unlock the remaining 60, but with the plugin you've been able to see all 80 including those you haven't unlocked yet. For example, the one on the gate is #37 so even if you got lucky with the time of day/weather you unfortunately don't have it unlocked, it was the same with the costa del sol tower and the jump onto the observatory lights.

Obviously once you get to HW they removed the time/weather requirements and made them visible orbs so it might be less of a pain when you get back there.

  3. Oh nice! I missed the beginning of this episode live (I tuned in about 30 min late) and I’m so glad you had the same Sam Riegal realization I did! After we’ve been talking about the different voice actors so much then I was curious about who the old cast was, and I had the exact same shock you did. I couldn’t hear him at all! And like you, I hear him EVERYWHERE in gw2, often to my disappointment. And boy I was extra disappointed he was cast as Poised Arrow. Can we please have some decent fresh voice talent in gw2 😩 I’m getting so tired of hearing the same 5 voice actors everywhere.

  4. …. I didn't realise you could sort duties by level descending 🤦‍♀ that'll come in useful
3:19:34 sorry Alphi but I prefer the delivery of "by all six gods, what is that thing? It's huge!" – "That, soldier, is a threat."

  5. Offscreen Dialogue mentioned at 29:25

Hm? Why yes, I am Professor Lamberteint. Beg pardon? You wish to hear about my research on corrupted crystals? …Truly? Well, nothing would give me greater pleasure than to discuss my work with a fellow (man/woman) of science!
