  1. I actually preordered this before it came out years and years ago. I was super excited because I was a huge fan of 11. Even with how bad it was, I would have stuck with it but my PC at the time really couldnt handle the graphics so I quit playing after a few months and never went back :/ I wish I would have stuck with it, but you know what they say about hindsight…

  2. Since you mentioned sharlayan and co in the Wikipedia article. Apparently if i remember correctly they originally planned to have 6 starting citys. So as we know limsa, gridania and Ul'dah, but also ishgard, sharlayan and Ala mihgo but realizing the necessary work load they reconsidered.
    I think they talked about it during the last fan fest when talking about 2.0 development and how they very shortly talked about the possibility to implement it in 2.0 but reasonably scrapped it
