Newer sub but your videos are great really informative. I’m finally getting back to mmo’s after like 3 years so been really helpful for me to choose what I wanna play. Just got on ff14 after getting soft locked on ark cause people don’t play dungeons. Waiting on throne& liberty and blue protocol which I’m hoping both are successful even with their current challenges.
I'll be honest with you what really threw me off about final fantasy is their shills, they would promote everywhere trash other MMOs while promoting their own for the longest time.
Every mmo company has done this and its nothing new but it's also not right.
I'm sorry but they really do have shills like the rest of the of mmo companies.
Are they better than other companies yes but is it genuine no it is not genuine I am truly sorry but they're just like all these other greedy companies and if they really cared about the game they would work on the flaws of the game.
If they really cared about the game and this players they would listen more. I don't expect people who cover these games to take sides I'm just expressing my experience.

Conquest was important for outpost warps. I remember there being concerted efforts back in the day to get a city’s home zone, because those almost never changed hands and were the most convenient for getting around.
I generally think there should be more content for those people who want to play everyday and dont want to step away but i dont want it to get to the point where i have to play everyday 6-8 hrs a day just to keep up and stay up to date
With the new game yoshi is directing i would love it to be a sequel to 14 like after 100's years of peace the main city states are at war with each other because there is no garlemald or dragonsong war size threat and as adventures we have to try and bring the alliance back together
Something like the Guardian games in destiny 2 when the warlocks, hunters and titans fight it out to see who wins something like that in ff14 pvp would be cool
Heck the low stress environment is why I stuck with the game so long.
The problem is imo after 10yrs they added more of the same in Dawntrail thus far and thats what got me fired up and quit. They needed to change things up to do like added puzzles or secrets acquiring certain gear or items to further progress your character or even a summon skill tree that empowers your build or even your weapon elemental attributes i think they dropped the ball on this next expansion while graphics are good its just not enough imo.
YoshiP can start arguing he's going to make it less stressful when he decides to bring back proper indicators into the casual content. Just compare regular Stormblood raids to even the Shadowbringers and Endwalker raids to see how much of a difference that makes.

I'd like to see them borrow the Aht Urghan Whitegate invasions from XI.
Periodically, if enough GC things aren't done, a new invasion happens, and they kidnap NPCs and possibly high-level ones, like Nanamo.
I got to be honest if someone who's beaten the game up to the current story… The story mode very much feels like a baby's this is just the tutorial level compared to actually challenging content.
It would be a Herculean feat but go through the entire msq and make extreme versions of every dungeon.
I feel like dungeons did not start giving more of a punch back until stormblood or shadowbringers.
Let me just preface this by saying I am still very new to the game. For me, however, I personally love how approachable all of the classes are. They’re relatively easy for someone like me who hasn’t played a lot of MMO’s over the years to pick up. Some take longer than others to learn but that’s to be expected. What I WOULD LIKE to see is harder dungeon bosses. Specifically mechanics. Perhaps a random set of mechanics every time you go into the fight. That way it’s less like a jog on a treadmill just pushing through for exp or loot. Each one being unique to a point. And perhaps new mechanics could be added each expansion. As I’m not a developer idk how hard what I’m asking is but I think it’d be a fun way to spice up the game.

The full translation specifically states he will not increase the difficulty of the game. What is he referring to? We don’t know for sure. Maybe the relics back to a time wasting model?
