Like clockwork, whenever a Demake, subpar sequel/prequel or reboot comes out people will proceed with the usual rhetoric that it's predecessors weren't that good as a means propping up their inferior version. Silent Hill 2 is considered generally the best one for good reason and no amount of sophistry is going to change that and I say that as someone who thinks Silent Hill 4 The Room is the best game of the series. The Silent Hill 2 Demake will not surpass the original.
