Good lord the streamer/'tuber luck…. getting two four star characters AND Wolf's Gravestone?! on the FIRST TEN PULL?!?! Lucky….. I was thinking at first that he pulled on Hu Tao or Neuvillette's banners and was getting a five star character…. but this is just as amazing for luck…. The only thing that could top it is getting a five star on the Noelle starter banner…. and it being, like, Jean, Diluc, or Keqing…..or Tighnari…

There’s no canon main character.
To get the most enjoyment out of the combat its important to learn about elemental reactions and how to build teams, it seems simple on the surface but its fairly complex once you dig into it. You dont need to play the "meta" teams, and you should always play the characters YOU enjoy playing. How the elements interact with each other, how the characters skills function and what role they play is whats important.

Fyi on ninguang, it might say that she’s a 4 star, she is secretly a 5 star character her dmg mainly came from her skill and burst and charged attack. She works best against a single target though, but still fares well against hordes due to the huge aoe of her skill. She is one of the dps that i still use to this day since 3 years ago even with all the new characters, and that says a lot on her worth. P/s you must keep spamming her skill every-time it’s cooldown resets
Also waiting on a guy to play this game and not be like [Insert monkey noises here] every time a female character shows up.
your luck is disgusting, im happy for you, but im also feel somewhat jealous as well. im sorry for feeling like this. ive been wanting that claymore for 3 WHOLE YEARS to complete my character and you got it on your very first pulls.
After playing for a while, the beauty can sometimes be lost in a desire for material or to finish a quest. Thx for reminding me that the beauty of the game is what first hooked me! Now the lore (and characters ofc) has me even more hooked. Very well written game minus some anime tropes if those bother you
The characters in this game are all good. Whether 4 stars or 5 stars It depends on that character's job.👍
For Ningguang you use her skill (E) first then go through it and then auto attack

about who is the canon traveler. there is no such thing as canon twin, that is bullshit of the highest order and hoyoverse has already set the record straight several times. What happens is that for consistency's sake they chose one of the twins to always use as the traveler for publicity, so trailers, that sort of thing. Think about it, if they changed which is which all the time it would make things confusing. Story wise though, it doesn't matter, both twins are canon (think alternative timelines)

A few notes:
your inventory is unlimited pick up everything.
Attacking trees harvests wood, attacking rock harvests ore.
USE YOUR ELEMENTAL SKILLS.
Read the skill descriptions for each character, that will tell you which artifacts to use for their stats and what holding the button or tapping it does.
The skills do work differently if held or tapped, Ambers skills can be aimed where you want them if held.
Equip artifacts, for now doesnt matter which ones they buff your characters.
Adventure rank IS NOT character level.
Level your characters, level your weapons, level your artifacts.
EXP used to level equipment is transfered to items when older ones are sacrificed for leveling.
More stars equals better, so using lower star items to level higher star things is OK.
Climb, climb, climb, lots of goodies hiding above you.
A caveat to above for now do not jump while climbing, it uses up a lot of stamina.

There are a lot of common things with Breathe of the Wild when it first came out, but I think if you play long enough, you'll start to see the distinctions between them.

i'd recommend pulling for hu tao. she will carry you trough the game because even after 3 years she's still cracked. and you will be able to level her up rather fast since she's a character of the 2nd region (liyue) and therefore her materials will be easy to get. bennett is a perfect support for her. also snatch a xingqui off her banner and you're good to go.

Swimming in this game jump from bad to phenomenal when you get to the Hydro nation.
Biggest tip i can give you is NEVER use primogems on the standard wish(the one with Qiqi) also weapon wishes are kind of useless for now
At ar10 pull on noelles banner so you can equip her with wolves gravestone(the 5star weapon you got)

*Statues of the 7 heal your character (must be clicked)
*Make food (pigeons can be killed for ez fowl)
*DO NOT enter the giant mountain before ar16
*At ar16 you unlock coop ⚠️ you will get alot of coop requests as a low level, because they want to carry you ingame

It's always nice to watch new players experience Genshin for the first time. Congrats on your first 10 pull. Wolf's Gravestone is a good weapon to pull for the first time and Bennet is one of the S tier characters to get. So well done 👏
In regards to wishing for characters, I wouls suggests wishing for characters you like or would need in your team. And for artifacts, I say not to worry about it til you've reach a good level or have enough artifacts to use for your team.

Só you wanna save all your primogens for limited character banners that’s the ones that are only up for 20 days and then go away. You will eventually get blue wishes from just playing the game and can use those on the beginner banner/ the one with Mona and qiqi etc.
The reason for this is because firstly the limited characters are usually better and they’re not available all the time. Second the characters from the standard banner like Mona and qiqi and keqing you can also get them from the limited banner (if you’re unlucky)
