  1. big tips aside the extreme:
    – if you have to click skills, which is bad, at least try to put things you use most on buttons close to wasd, like R T F Z etc.
    – ALWAYS use GCDS when available, never user 76 ogcds in a row… you have time just for 2 between gcds, and those have to be on cooldown 24/7
    – read skills, i mean i see random clicks on all the buffs you have, you can play as you want but you actually are doing no damage in an extreme fight… i'd be disapointed to not surpass crystal dps check cuz you are doing 1k dps

  2. M8 u need to learn better your class. Just a friendly advice. U r using ogcd in gcd. U are using your combos wrong. And u don't use your ogcd properly. U are really behind on dps. I don't know if u are new in the game or the class but start by working your skills n abilities on a striking dummy to know better drg.

  3. Tbh not sure how some play on mouse and keyboard but are a clicker lol. Not gonna tell you how to play the game but you should try to read up some guides on your class before you do extremes. (In savage/ult people would definitely notice and probably kick.) My only takr is you should try gamepad instead. Though play how you will ^.^

  5. I know my gameplay is far from perfect but considering this was our 5th attempt at this place (with most people not knowing anything). Yes i could use keybinds and stuff but i'm more comfortable clicking while using my hands for movement and other stuff.

  6. I'm super confused about the star signs at 8:20. I thought that the safe spots were from the perspective you look at it the sign from. The 2nd sign shouldn't be having a safe spot directly in front. Is this different somehow different in extreme? The third sign should also have its safe spot on your D marker? What am I missing?

  7. Y'all need to chill and let them play how they want clicking isn't that bad the game is trail and error no one is truly perfect and has there own way of playing just because you do good with keybinds and not clicking didn't mean another is also good at that also there pretty new so cut some slack it obvious the group didn't mind or they would have kicked I just hate it when a new player joins ff14 and everyone trys to dictate what and how they should play like playstyles exist for a reason shit I tank when I play healer is it the proper way no is it fun yes let ppl be if they want to learn something different they will ask and seek it out

  8. Use a mmo mouse. I used to be a clicker before since I first started playing. It improves your speed a lot, plus you are freeing your right hand to do camera control.

You are essentially letting people do the work for you. Don’t hold your party back with your bad dps. You missed a lot of gcd because you were double weaving and using ogcd while gcd was available. You have 90 levels of experiencing DRG, a returner or not, you still have 80 to 90 to learn your rotation. Practice your class

  9. congrats on 130/65 like ratio.
that's 33% dislikes: is it obvious yet how painful your gameplay is to watch for people who aren't being fake- or forced-positive?
being bad is fine when you're doing it by yourself or an entire group of people who just want to be bad at something.
it's not okay when you're dragging down 7 others who for some reason tolerated or had to tolerate you.

  10. When you say you're a clicker I didn't expect you to literally click every single thing roflmao. I thought it's only gonna be your ogcds. But playstyle aside that opener and overall gameplay is atrocious , who intentionally clips their gcd like that?

Can't use "it's only our 5th pull" as an excuse since this is clearly an issue of your basic understanding of the game, 5 pulls or 100 pulls won't change it. Call me toxic or whatever but you got carried HARD. I hope you won't do savage and be a burden to 7 other people unless you improve man

Genuinely curious how many dislikes this video got

  11. I could give you some pointers if you wish. I am by no mean a perfect dragoon player but I could give you a good idea of how to improve your rotation. A trick is to always keep in mind that an ability that is off cooldown is wasted dps. So you wanna use them as fast as possible. Opener I eye someone 1 second before pull because I target click, then Thrust with Lance charge and litany, followed by Disembowel and High Jump, after that it's Chaotic with Geirskogul and mirage dive. Lots of double weaving needs to be done with dragoon. Any skill that isn't a jump can usually be double weaved. After that it's keeping melee uptime as much as possible while optimizing little hings such as delaying a wyrmwind thrust if your lance chage is coming off cd before you execute another raiden thrust.

  12. You're really not bad at doing the mechanics, I didn't see a whole lot of mistakes in that department. The way you get around dragoon however; is rife with problems, problems that negate how decent you are at mechanics. To start, you don't gain anything by spamming your CS combo. Alternating between Heaven's Thrust and Chaotic Spring is recommended just as a baseline because you're missing out on like 1100 potency (not to mention that 10% damage increase from disembowel ON your HT combo). This is NOT negotiable. Second, never use more than two non-jump OGCds between your combos so it's nice and smooth, and NEVER. STOP. CASTING. For any reason, your GCD should always be rotating when there's something to target. I know it FEELS comfortable to click your skills, but you should really absolutely consider using keybinds for at least your combos because I notice you're having trouble getting your buffs and back to your GCD without clipping severely if not just outright ignoring one or the other.

Last but not least, blowing all of your cooldowns at once without touching your main combos is, in fact, not a dps gain. And once again, NEVER double weave a jump with anything. Ever. Not ever.

  13. Y'all stupid. The guy cleared so early with all members blind run, cleared in 5 attempts. His focus was on mechanics. Just say congrats and hope that he can do better next time. If he's so bad with it I'm sure he realizes and will try more in the future. And when he's practicing, he's gonna straight up lookup rotations on YT and slap some striking dummy like he's practicing to be a dominatrix, not your long-ass mentor chat. "M8 you're really bad you need to practice" Yeah no shit Sherlock, look at the pinned comment, I think he realize that.

  14. Listen yall im a clicker too. Ive cleared all three ultimates and almost all the content in the game. But there's clicking correctly and there's… this! I never drop a gcd and weave just a good as anyone else. I just think this guy has to practice some more he'll be just fine!
