  1. Honestly, I love this as a controller player, because it'll let me clean up my hotbars a bit more, and give me more room for other skills to be in better controller spots.

  2. Now i might actually try controller again, this will definitely free up a lot of skills from dpad. I wonder how it would actually work on SAM though, it would be neat to collect 3 stickers with only 3 buttons but at the same time with meikyo shisui straight up needs you to only press the last skill from a combo.

  3. SE is trying to pull in aspects of a few mods that have existed for years for PC players. Glad to see it. SlothCombo is one of them. I play mostly on PS5 and hate keeping 3 buttons on my cross hotbars for single target combo, 3 more for the AoE combo. On some jobs I have to swap through 3 pages of buttons on PS5 and some are macro'd together which is highly un-optimal for things like oGCD weaving but I have to do it.

  4. Idk how anyone could not appreciate this change. A godsend for controller players but not only that they’re laying the groundwork for adding more abilities and keeping people’s UI from looking like WoW with a million icons on screen. They’ve already hinted and flat out said some things about how they’re trying to eventually add more individuality to each of the classes come 8.0 and beyond and this is just the prep work for that

  5. Thinking about this further, and looking at some reddit threads… I think this just does stuff like separates RDM's Scorch to it's own key, instead of replacing Jolt (like it used to be). Your basic melee 1-2-3 combos will still be separate keys. Hopefully it will do the thing with Mirage Dive though…
