  1. Was kinda hoping to hear something on BST (Beastmaster). Been pretty psyched since the announcement of the job coming to XIV, but it’s been crickets since said announcement. Maybe soon? 🤞🏻🤞🏻😋

  2. I really wish Yoshi P would take better care of himself, but he is an adult so can do to his body whatever he likes.
    Happy to hear about the glamour plates though, probably a ways out but glad to hear they want to add more.

  4. I don't know that levelling after 100 is a good idea. Some of the jobs cough Astrologian cough have no room on their bars already. Adding more abilities is just going to make things slower and more awkward. I don't want the jobs to lose any more identity than they already have though, so maybe levels after 100 would be best?

  5. I personally hope for past level 100, they do like a fresh start for like prestige classes. Just like FF1, can have the mages become wizards. Can have AST become Devout or something like it. Dragoon could become Holy Dragoon like Kain in FF4 -> The After Years and it could line up belatedly with Estinien's change from hunting dragons to riding them. Not sure what else they could do off the top of my head, but it could be really fun; new job stones for the prestige classes, and 'starting over' at level 1 but still having the power of a level 100 type of thing.

  6. I do hope for attribute points and horizontal progression, as the actual level progression will still be on item level

    Remember that people are "tired" of the 2 minute window, but also want job balance but also always rate each job tier based on performance, so… there is no really a way to get everyone happy on job balance, and as of now, seems like what jobs are missing is identity

    Attribute points/merits/job customization could be a breath of fresh air.

    Number wise, the equipment will be the check as always, and rotations to clear "casual" content would be quite the same, but say that maybe you can have some more points to upgrade a skill and change its animation and effects to do more damage, add support, remove positionals to simplify a job or add them to give an edge, change the avatar summons to change elemental effects or equip 3 for your rotations, etc, sure I migh be wishing for too much customization but having a couple of "new" skills per 10 levels per job and some are just upgrades of existing ones are not much fun or exiting to play/watch

    Sure, the top raiders would be still find a way to say "we need a Dragoon with a 4 part combo instead of 5 to macth dancer steps on the second phase of that particular boss" but we all will now that is just being picky when the actual hard part of the fighs is doing mechanics and know when to burn skills for checks

  8. Until they have a remotely sane content release cycle I take anything SE says with a bucket full of salt really along with anything "We'd like to", that usually means years if ever. The mobile version looks like its superior in every way in features so hopefully that puts pressure on them to improve the PC version, it would be embarrassing for PC to lag behind mobile. I used to be optimistic and excited about interviews, but been playing long enough that I know not to be anymore and just see what we get.
