For such a fast and cheap way to travel, why is it that we seem to be the only ones that use them while almost everyone else has to walk or use other methods of travel.

Another great video! I only recently learned about the life stream part of teleporting from rewatching some 2.x cutscenes.
Wasn't there an army who teleported using an aetheryte, but their destination aetheryte was destroyed and the were trapped in the lifestream?
I knew none of this lol, but always wondered myself.
But if NPC's used aetherytes, practically all of post ARR MSQ would not exist 😉
Thank you for your video! I have a question if you're willing. Why do so many outposts, towns, and cities gather and build around the aetherites if very few people can actually utilize them as intended?
