Quite accurate. XD
FF14 has better more intense music. But their low key stuff doesn't hit like Elwynn Forest.
I feel sorry for people who plays only MMO and Multiplayer games. Because the fact that here, Final Fantasy games always had unique OST, this not only special to Final Fantasy XIV , whole serie has amazing songs.

I'm an ffxiv player and the music can be great but it can also be mind-numbingly bad (la-hee) (fight me).
But the Guild Wars soundtrack was phenomenal. Jeremy Soule, composer of some, or all I'm not sure, TES games does some amazing work
And then you pan to the left and the fucking Elite Raiders are running their generic DMCA-Free techno bullshit instead.

So many bangers in this game I started levelling Alchemist
Maybe its because I'm new to FF but I'll sit in a zone tabbed out with background music playing just to listen and try to pick out each class of instruments, hearing the breaths taken by the wind group or the strumming from strings. I played WoW for 12 years and never once cared about the music.
gonna be deadass with u, i played wow for like, 3,000 hours and after being fed up with the game, swapped to FFXIV.
There literally is no comparison, WoW's got some solid tracks, but as always with every single-player FF, XIV blows everything out of the water
