I've never been one for pvp but I gotta be honest this is interesting for me
The new battle-pass style rewards for the series may actually get me to try pvp again. I don't think that sitting on their rank will be much of a problem, since I assume that they are gonna reset the ranks each season, otherwise I wouldn't know why they wouldn't allow downranking. Since that would happen every 2 months or so and people would have to rank up again, which should lead to some active playerbases for once.
And sure, maybe some noobs will be stomped at the start of each season, but I witnessed the rank-sitting in Overwatch for years, because they never did a reset over there, and I'd much prefer it this way, since the system will sort itself out really quick with the few wins needed to rank-up anyways.
I honestly can't wait for this, I get envious seeing the feast gear I could never get. New titles and oh the glam…its all about the glam!! Hahahaha
The fact that it's 5v5 still makes me scratch my head. Why move away from the multiples of 4?

As long as I can eventually get that StB scientist's chair I'm happy. And with GARO coming back (and hopefully applying to all PvP modes?) there's even more reason to get hyped about PvP.
