My Dawntrail static’s first clear of The Omega Protocol (TOP), an ultimate difficulty raid in Final Fantasy XIV! After also reprogging DSR a few months ago, I couldn’t be more thrilled to have this raid cleared as well ahead of the release of Futures Rewritten Ultimate (FRU).

As with DSR, we used all the same strategies run by the North American Ultimate Raiding (NAUR) discord community. We did not use AutoMarkers though; instead I marked players personally for Sigma, and both Agatha and I marked players for Omega.
As with DSR, the TOP DPS check was much easier now compared to when the raid was released in Endwalker. We didn’t use tinctures at all in the first four phases, in order to set up comfortable kill times.
For this clear, the only add-on used was ACT, for combat logging purposes only. Most add-ons commonly used by raiders (including my friends NoClippy and Engage Timer), where not ready for Patch 7.1, which makes this clear all the more gratifying.
