This fight gave me conflicting signals when I first did it, because the expanding circle tells you to move away, but you need to stick reasonably close to reach the crystal in time before the boss blows you (and he looks like he has a spiky mouth, so that can't be pleasant).
lul. Good stuff. Haven't seen this fight myself as i'm still progressing through Stormbringer but I hope you come and take a look at my channel and let me know what you think.
Man, doing this raid on Day 1 was probably the most fun I have had with 24-man raids. Weeping City Day 1 was a close second. One of only times I saw a 24-man hit the 2hr timer.
This part of Dun Scaith show the true nature of some people real quick, and the part with the fire or water pound as well, calling people names and pointing fingers at X,Y or Z, kicking people because they failled a mechanic too many times.
Oh, OOF. This raid. Yeah, I remember my first time doing this and that I didn't have to move. I was confused at first as to why the ice came down and then saw the push mechanic. Same number of people got blown over like this after.
I ran this in roulette the other day, and the amount of people who just do not understand mechs after being told about them AND seeing them is amazing. Literal NPC's.
I knew exactly what I was in for from the thumbnail and was still not disappointed
As a fresh scholar, rezzing that many people drained my mp so quickly.

yeah… i've done this shit ONCE after unlocking it…. never again….. hopefully…. glares at the roulette

I love how so many people still struggle with this part of the raid
I love Dun Scaith.
This boss is a litmus test for how the rest of the raid is gonna go. I call it Angra 2.0
My friend and I had to double check we weren't in this video because that was us last night
Imagine a savage version of this
I queue into this raid just to give people a bad time
Guess which ones are veterans and sprouts lol
I'm squinting trying to see if I'm in there then I notice the pattern on the ground was different.
This literally happened to me an hour ago DX
Whole alliance wiped out, rip.
This boss is easy only if healers could be bothered to esuna doom.
Can we put our hands together for Flowwer Pot who had the presence of mind to pop his knock back protection when he saw he wouldn’t make it in time?

Ah, classic Dun Scaith. Never disappoints.
Always funny when 2/3rd of the entire run gets yeet off the edge

Not fun at all.

The greatest filter
That fight always made me so glad that a RDM synced to 60 can't rezz.
Every day struggles.
Strike ! 😂😂😂
Literally…
I just did this fight for the first time today and yep. Thats pretty accurate.
Don’t look at me, I died to the void hole thing lmao
To be fair. This raid is in the award winning heavensward expansion where you can play up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on play time
FFXIV vets only needed to read the title and see the thumbnail
Literally the only hard part of the raid
I ran this in roulette the other day, and the amount of people who just do not understand mechs after being told about them AND seeing them is amazing. Literal NPC's.
Took me blowing off twice to figure that one out
Aaaaah, I forgot I still need to catch up on those.
