  3. For divine veil and shake it off, I like finding spots in between two instances of raidwide damage to use it. That way you help heal up the first raidwide and shield the next one. Also for raidwides that have a bleed effect, I like using them after they go off to help soak up as much of the bleed as possible, which is usually where most of the damage is. Dark Missionary and Heart of Light always want to be used prior to those casts going off, as the percentage mitigation also reduces the bleed damage.

  4. Shields are not mitigation, they do not decrease the damage taken just give a buffer to your HP. Dark Knight for example, Obulation is a mitigation, abyssal drain is a heal and the blackest night is a shield. A shield and a mitigation stack, so tbn gives you a 25% hp shield and obulation gives 10% damage mit, they stack, but obulation and shadow wall do not, it'll reduce the damage from wall then obulation will reduce from that damage.
