  1. I main Bard and I cannot wait for that bow! I adore flowery, naturesque aesthetic, especially when it comes to archers. It looks so delicate and graceful, which I don't think the game has enough of when it comes to bows, imo. The base color scheme of light blues is a unique and pleasant choice. My second favorite (as well as my second class) is definitely BLM. I love the look of lanterns and am so happy it got incorporated into a weapon. The wisp effects are a fantastic, mystical touch, and I like how it's base color scheme is this deep blue, not gray or actual black just because it's in the name of the class. It still conveys the darker arts, but with a soft elegance.

  2. Brace yourselves, Imma go through all of them.

Those PLD weapons are fit for royalty. Yes, even the ladle and lid.
The circular WAR weapon reminded me of a pizza slicer. The blowfish one had me laughing for a while.
I haven't unlocked Pugilist/Monk, but totally will for those Dragon's Beard Fists (the shark mittens are hilarious, after the kettle fists nothing is too far-fetched).
Blood Rapture is the kind of sword I envisioned for DRK from the start. The Sakura weapon totally breaks the "Dark" aesthetic, which is glorious.
Cerberus Fang gunblade looks dope as heck. And the shark is both funny and badass.
One Dragoon badass weapon and one which is hilarious. Love them both.
That fork and knife pair for NIN is just amazing, and I love the mandragora details. The first weapon is nice, simple but elegant.
The first SAM katana is simple, but elegant. Hidden blade parasol, best idea ever, and it looks gallant as heck too.
    Both the bows are beautiful.
Vitoria do Povo gun looks beautiful, they totally nailed the ceramic aesthetics (I don't think a ceramic gun would work IRL without exploding, though). No comments on the bouquet.
The Dancer chakrams are just beauty incarnate, I love every detail (and those torch-bomb chakrams look cool too, reminds me of a Hawaiian luau).
As a Black Mage main, I'm totally getting both that lantern and the Serpent of Ronka staff.
The second book is much better than the first, IMO. Not because the first isn't good (it's pretty elegant and I like how it looks), but because there are others that look like it and thus doesn't feel so unique.
The first Red Mage rapier is quite elegant, I hope the fire actually glows; the second one is a must-have for water fashion.
Both BLU parasols are nice, it's good to see BLU taken into account for these things.
I LOVE the "bunny-in-the-moon" aesthetic in the WHM staff; the other one is hilariously tasty.
That SCH book is brilliant, and the second one would be glorious if made of stained glass.
OMG, that Stargazer is just impressive. The snow globe is cute.

    Holy moly, colour me impressed.

  3. I wanted to know more about the first dancer weapon @ 25:25, so I did a quick translation. Enjoy! (This is my own interpretation, not machine translation. I am not a professional.)

    Upper part:
Soutsuki no Odoriko [dancer of twin moons]
    Concept / motif
    + moon, goddess Menphina
    + light and darkness
+ Even dancers want to wield swords! Saber dance!!

Middle part: The moon is a major motif, but when you put two together, "the sun" comes to mind. (Think of the goddess Menphina's half-sister, sun goddess Azeyma)

Bottom part: In combat it looks like dual-wielding swords, and that's… (perhaps having the point of the sword face not forward like this, but reverse with a backward grip could also be good)

[The left part talks about the crystal elements, and the right part talks about how dyes might effect the weapon, but I don't fully understand.]

  4. I was one of the finalist in the MNK entry and am even more inspired for the next contest!! I found the feeling very much akin to being starstruck lol! I will enjoy my parasol very much! SCREEEEE!

  5. I think more people should be rewarded. 300 winners is too low. You can see amazing designs on reddit, twitter and facebook that are as good as finalist and first price winners, and they got nothing.

  6. I want to see scrolls for summoners and scholars! Maybe stone tablets or wood-paged tomes, I'm surprised over the years there haven't been more variations on "book".

  7. I can not wait for that monk weapon specifically. Everything about it just screams to me. These are the monk weapons i love. Not gauntlets, not claws
just some small brace or glove and effect, and making it very known that monks are using their bare apendages for damage, not the weapons.

  8. Those Shark Gloves look like something the Hololive V-Tuber Gura would use.
Also, one can almost hear the battlecry "IT'S DINNER TIME!" with that knife and fork.

  9. Another year w/o a lightsaber ☹
What really bugs me about swords, short swords, daggers, etc is the lack of scabbards, except for samurai obviously.

  10. oi meoni, for that gun, search the word "talavera" you are going to love it, it is a traditional way of decaling ceramics here on Mexico, i do belive they got some inspiration out of that

  11. Thanks you Meoni! I really appreciate that you also notice my design like everyone else!

While the goal of the weapon was so I can make to match the glamour set I had back then. I took some inspiration from Kamen Rider and Tokusatsu design in mind, while creating the weapon. Like the sword I took inspiration in one of the Kamen rider in Kiva. While the shield is from Goseiger sentai!

  12. Our old friend was right. Everyone wants to make sharks. As Batman fan love the umbrella sword but really want an umbrella gun. Finally Carbuncle book! As they are the best why did it take so long?
