A brief explanation on how summoner pet sizes work. A follow up to my video on pet and egi glamours.
When you set your glamours everyone else sees them, however, /petsize is entirely client side. This means that every player can set the size of each summon on their screen. So if you are annoyed by large summons it is up to you to change it. Don’t blame the summoner.
If you use the command:
/petsize “demi-bahamut” “small”
From that point on every time you see a Demi-Bahamut it will be small, whether it’s you summoning it or another player.
You can individually change the size of all these summons to small, medium, or large:
demi-bahamut
demi-phoenix
ruby ifrit
topaz titan
emerald garuda
You can also use “all” to change the size of all of those summons:
/petsize “all” “small”
The command does not affect any summon that is currently present, but none of them last very long anyways.
You only get the “true primal” summons at 90, so anytime you are synced in lower level content you will see egis or carbuncles. /petsize does not affect those. You cannot glamour the level 90 summons, nor Bahamut nor Phoenix, as far as I know.
I think they should allow all the summons to be glamoured. I personally would love to be able to have nothing but carbuncles. But there should be more variety, like an actual green one, or a white one like Alphinaud has, or a black one.
