  1. Re the tree: Birch trees actually look a lot like that – bark peeling & tearing, abrupt transitions between silvery and brown bark. But the lights could have been less polygon and more round. And smaller.

  2. I love this mount so much, even though it's appropriate for the holidays it won't look out of place all year long. It's also very understated. It's nice to have mounts that don't look like neon billboards.

  3. Honestly, i think it's a poor looking mount, no flying particles, no decorations, looks like a wet dog with horns, a little more texture or movement to the white fur would have been great..

  4. I'm just SO SO happy this mount is NOT glowing like a christmas tree.
I know many people like those effects, but for me it always breaks the immersion since the whole environment around glows with it. The lanners for example…I wished I could disable the glow effect.

  5. Really like the mount as it really doesn't look overly Christmassy outside of it's special action. The model is quite nice and it won't look out of place in any zone at any time of year.
The tree looks decent. As with that exact tree in real life, they really only look particularly good when it's night time. Not bad but pretty much as expected.

  6. The bark is a Sycamore tree which has blotchy peeling bark. Birches peel in long strips. In the US they are common in cities and even get globby lights placed all over them. At least in game we don't see all the ugly wires :). Great video. Thanks for showing how it looks at night!
