  1. The people remembering you is explained from the end of 1.0. This isn't spoilers because it doesn't really get explained post-ARR or elaborated on.

What happened at the end of 1.0 is that Louisoux sent your character 5 years into the future, and due to Aether shenanigans, it wipes the memory of your character from the minds of people in Eorzea. I think, been a while, at the end of ARR, people start to recall that you were one in the same but they still can't remember you directly.

Also, avoid spoiling with this statement as much as possible: Do all the ARR 50 bonus dungeons, something you said gets answered there. That's not technically Heavensward so you should've already experienced it, but it still sounds like something you haven't done.

  2. Remembering Warrior of Light is more of a reference to Final Fantasy XIV 1.0. Legacy players had a bit different cutscene at both start and the end of 2.0 main story – Basically they were starting as being transported to new Eorzea but noone would remember them AND at the end of ARR all leaders and important characters were remembering that particular Warrior of Light. In my opinion it's a very nice way to commemorate old players who survived through 1.0-1.23 and lived to tell the tale.

Not a spoiler but clarification – there is a void between worlds which is nothingness (at least as what I understand) and there is a World of Darkness – Void from which Voidsent appear. It's told in Crystal Tower raid and in post-ARR MSQ but it's told in a bit convoluted form.

As I said before, I stand with those statements – you should play Amdapor Keep, Lost City of Amdapor and Tam Tara Deepcroft (Hard) dungeons.
Don't be fooled by name – in FFXIV (Hard) is a new dungeon with new enemies and bosses (and story) that only share general dungeon graphics and parts of layout with original. They are mostly optional, but Tam-Tara and Lost city have really good references to… well, you have to play them to find out – these dungeons are really good, just make sure you got premade party and running them on minimum ilvl and possibly no echo and either ready for many wipes or have at least one or two guys who know mechanics.

Heavensward, or rather, quests that lead to it, give one change that was already there in late ARR – story becomes more focused and feels, well, at least for me, like something of a classic Final Fantasy game, closer to FFIV-FFVI – at some point story feels like a classic RPG – you have clear goal where you need to get, but you have a bunch of obstacles on your way and some part of the adventure is your party tries to get past those obstacles. This is so classic RPG/JRPG – it brought back to me memories of playing Grandia, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII and VIII and other old JRPGs.

You can actually find Yojimbo in Manderville's Gold Saucer in one of the GATEs. I don't consider it as a spoiler, because you can see him as early as level 15 MSQ – right when you unlock Gold Saucer.

  3. You've still got 2.5 and 2.55 before you and they're pretty long. You'll probably, clear them this weekend but probably won't get to HW yet (unless you stream a LOT lol)

  4. Be sure to do the optional lvl 50 hard mode dungeons. They have different layouts and bosses from the original dungeons and tend to continue the tale of those locations or of people you've met before.

  5. Oh god I am sitting here smiling so hard and fidgeting. Prediction videos are so fun but so painful that we can't say anything. I know where you are and I will have some choice quotes of yours for next week so you can understand retrospectively how excited I am for you to experience this part!

  6. Nice predictions. A few of the predicted things are already in side content that you have access to but didnt do so far, you could take a closer look at some of the optional ARR dungeons at some point or pop into the Gold Saucer a bit more often to see some of the GATEs that pop up there.

Also gonna suggest something for future expansion predictions. They generally add new zones/regions each expansion in a MMO. It might be nice to try to predict what those areas are and what they might look like generally. I dont know if you didnt predict that because you thought it was obvious or perhaps you were told already but sometimes it is not going to be very obvious at all what kind of areas you will end up visiting!

  7. After your video, I understand the emotional vampirism, smiley faces, and need to live the journey vicariously through other people. I hope you love the journey as much as we do. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  8. heavensward jobs are tank Dark Knight and healer Astrologian.

Dark Knight does crazy high damage arguably more than Shadowbringers tank Gunbreaker. But dark knight lacks self-heals and defenses compared to other 3 tanks. So proper management of its defensive buffs are more important than ever for it as it can be squishy in 4 man dungeon content sometimes. Excels in raid and trial bosses tho.

Astrologian is one of thee best healers in the game, gives the strongest utility. every 30 secs select a dmg buff to give to an ally, can give less or even more dmg to them depending on ally's own job. Its own heals require pre-planning when they'd go off and heal bomb the party. Its much higher skill ceiling to other healers compared but very rewarding when you do it, keeps you super busy multitasking all its own actions.
