So Kardia as is their ult is similar to Synestry from Astro but it heals that person off of dps instead of other heals. That will be interesting to see in practice.
i lost the track? how much time until endwalker release
😮
Well scholar can really go to the closet now 😆😆 sage just destroy him
"I nearly called it dyslexia."
I think it is causing dyslexia in you.
Cant wait to see how this plays in potd. 😀😀
Reminds me of atonement healing from WoW! I was missing leech healing when I left for ffxiv, glad to see they put it in, in a way
Feels like healer queues will be more like DPS queues 2.0 in Endwalker
I’ve always felt like I over heal WAY too much on SCH, and the more I watch on SGE I feel like I’m gonna end up much worse at that.
I'm a whm/war main, but I'm tempted to change over to gundam healer. Nice Vid.
Can 2 sage put kardia on the same tank?
I'm ready! Thank you for all the info Meoni <3
Couple pronunciation tips from a more medical background: Dyskrasia would be Diss-Kray-Sha. Physis would be Fai-Sis. -chole is pronounced as if there's no H, so 'Coal', as it's derived from the same root as 'cholesterol' and 'cholera'. And this last one might be a tad unpopular but Phlegma should probably be pronounced without the G as well, 'Flema' like Phlegm as in mucus (although the Greek meaning is actually 'inFLAMmation', as mucosal tissues produce mucus when inflamed).
Otherwise, awesome video.
pew pew heals?
Druochole = Afflatus Solace. Both uses resources that you gain over time.
Kinda bummed Sage has no bubble. Oh. Well. I will still play it though!
I think if Sage is supposed to be better at dps/easier to use to dps the enemy compared to scholar then I think scholar needs to be buffed to be able to have stronger barriers and such.
I don't think you heal the target for a percentage. It is a flat 170 potency heal. Your actual DPS numbers don't factor into the healing calculation.
As for how to pronounce these ability names. Couldn't tell you. It's all Greek to me😉
seems great, but it looks like there are many more heal abilities than barrier abilities?
Lol try actually being dyslexic and wanting to play Sage. Gods it is a nightmare but so hyped to heal with funnels.
main sch since heavensward… i guess this changes now
Time to switch to tanking since as a healer main i can feel the queues being crazy when this releases
I'm not sure the point of Toxikon, from what I learned you only get Addersting stacks from the diagnosis shield breaking which is equivalent to SCH Adlo. If the current tend keeps with Sage then diagnosis will barely be cast, not to mention Toxikon and Dosis have the same potency, for now at least, so that's no DPS increase for single target. I can see it being extremely useful in dungeons though since things tend to be much more messy than in raids. Still we'll see how it goes.
Kardia isn't a % of your damage dealt, but rather is dependent on the cure potency listed on the Sage's other damage abilities. For now they're all potency 170, so each damaging spell will heal the Kardion target for 170 each cast.
One small distinction to make about the healing boosting spells: Physis seems to boost all incoming healing magic by 10%, while Krasis seems to increase all types of healing from any action by 20%. So Physis won't boost a melee DPS self-healing, but Krasis will. I think.
I'm a tank, but I normally keep a healer & dps leveled. Sage might be that go to dps. Loving the damage while you heal aspect of the job.
The name phlegma reminds me to much of ligma
Broke my heart when I realized you’re just going to be doing 90% the same thing on Sage as you do on every other healer. Their single target dps kit isn’t much more than a WHM. If you throw up a regen and spam glare that’s going to do basically what dosis does. Very disappointed that they keep insisting this job is going to be the answer to all the people bored of the simpler non dps healers.
Seems weird not to care about pronouncing something incorrectly. Why would I listen to someone's info when they don't care about errors?
You don't heal a percentage of damage dealt, the tooltips list a flat potency. So damage buffs and debuffs don't affect it
That said the job looks a lot more fun than Scholar does right now. Similar kit but less jank, and a slightly more involved damage kit. It's not Old Scholar but I'm excited nonetheless! Astrologian is also looking interesting, curious about Macrocosmos
These all sound like Greek based medical terms
