  1. This mount literally took 0 effort to produce, and yet they put it in the cash shop instead of making it a reward for TEA. Thing's been in the game since Creator came out. I've been wanting this mount since then. Raiders get shafted yet again, great.

  2. wow…. no mounts at all from the shop? how about we put them all in-game and not just the mounts? It's a form of profit that doesnt amount to anything advantageous to the player (it's not pay-to-win)

  3. People think this mount should be in the game in something other than PvP, but yet, a lot of those people complain when a large portion of the player base want PvP rewards obtainable from a different way. Seems a little hypocritical to me.

  4. Honestly, I think se could have found a happy medium for a mount like this, where those that raided tea and cleared got the mount for free as a drop and had it in mogstation later for those that do not raid tea. But its hard to make everyone happy and people would have found issue with that as well.

  5. Wow ffxiv players are spoiled i played dc universe for 4 years and that market is 1000% pay to win when the mogstation is 100% sales and just visual stuff that doesn't effect your game play

  6. One of the best comments that I read about this came from the WoW comparison. People in 14 complain way less than those in WoW for the simple reason that is easy to don't mind stuffs like this if the game is good. I'm having fun playing 14,the mount looks like it could be a cool reward for something related to Alexander? Sure, but that's not the case and it doesn't bother me at all, I won't buy it, but if for some reason i want to i think i will.
But I really can understand those who think an Alexander reward is more fitting but sadly for them it is what it is and there's nothing we can do about it

  7. Why is no one making a stink about the Scions outfits available in cash shop and not through story mode? It’s a similar argument. Why get mad at SE because of datamine speculations?

  8. All I see is the easily outraged WoW players have moved and are now easily outraged by FFXIV. Don't want/like it? Don't buy it. Done. It doesn't do anything other than affect vanity.

  9. "Raiders get shafted yet again, great." Of course, because Gobwalker, Arrhidaeus, Alte Roite, Air Force, Model O, Skyslipper, Ramuh, and Eden dont count. Raiders literally get a mount for every savage tier of content along with the best items in the game available to them. They are absolutely not getting screwed.

  10. I 100% disagree with the notion that Mogstation mounts should be available in game with a insanely low drop rate. One you start selling "Rare" in game mounts on the cash shop, you are selling the ability to bypass a grind instead of selling a cosmetic addition. There needs to be a distinct border between cash shop and earned item. The value of a rare mount comes from the investment in getting it. If muddy those waters then it either devalues the experience of the person who worked hard for it (because people will assume they bought it) and inflates the value of the item on the cash shop (because people can claim they farmed it).

As for cloud chaser, I would be upset about it if SE wasnt already handing out mounts to savage raiders and extremely unique weapon skins and titles to people who complete the ultimate raids. I would rather more people have access to the mount, than have it gated behind content especially with it being a 2 person mount.

  11. for me, I take huge umbrage with cash shop items being for sale that were previously earn-able in game. clothing being character bound and not account bound is another issue for me.

I think if things are in the cash shop then they should be able to be re-earned when the event comes back since most of these events repeat yearly. cosmetics that are real money only is an issue considering the fact that we not only have to buy each expansion but also already pay monthly.

a less egregious cash shop in my opinion would literally just be “you can work in game to earn this or you can buy it”

  12. people need to just get over it, i for one am glad i wont have to pvp or beat my head against rng to get this. Nothing new about mounts being added to the cash shop, don't understand all the crying.

  13. regarding the random loot for the cash mounts, I think it could be a chance of getting when completing every single duty roulette, msq included (not sure about thepvp ones).

I do most of them, but not all.
That could be an incentive to do those I usually don't.

  14. If you even care about this stuff then you should be seeking therapy – It's beyond pathetic that this is even a talking point – WHO CARES!! And nobody is interested in what you're interested in, especially not developers – Cash shops are here to stay, don't like it don't even entertain it – It really is that simple.
