Never change, Ilberd.
Nope, still don't like how you're insterting a purely subjective narrative into this retrospective series. This series would be a lot better if you didn't try to approximate the entire playerbase's feelings based on your own feelings and memories and instead treated it like an actual retrospective, with the subjective parts left out. That's why subjective matters are usually left out from retrospectives in the first place.
The second to last step of the Anima weapon has you first do three Hard Mode dungeons followed by Light Farm (and gathering Pneumite). The last step is fighting all the Primal trials followed by getting one item.
Ah yes, the legendary
S L O P P E H
seeing the attempts to a big area with lots of people with Diadem and its failures, then only going upwards with Eureka (and the fixes/nerfs, at least) and Bozja (still not for everyone but definitely the best "iteration" of the content), it makes me hopeful that Variant/Criterion was so good from the start and just lacking rewards, so whatever they have planned in Dawntrail is gonna be awesome!
I only have one thing to say…
(*Revenge Twofold Plays*)
Sohm Al hard remains one of my favourite dungeons to this day. Great music.
I love that you start at the end of Sohm Al reg and go backwards.
The bosses were fun, even the trash had some good stuff to it as well.
Perhaps nostalgia since this was the time my FC was the most active, so we ran this a bunch together.
Thank you for making this series. Knowing the history of this game that you play every single day is a good thing.
No matter what others say, you are doing a good job with this. Keep it up
Looking good happy 👀
Omega vs. Shinryu is still the coolest cutscene they've ever done, and that's saying a lot
This is the patch where I caught up to current content, back in the day.
@12:20 totally true i was hoping criterion would do this at the very least i mean tank 2.5 gcd bis this tier is aug tome and tome ring so we do need a 3rd 660 ring with different substats
Been a full 10 years for me, since beta!
Cheers to another (hopefully) 10 years
Wasn't the [Spoiler removed] from FF[Spoiler removed] one of the bosses in Baelsar's Wall?
I have Sloppeh set as my notification sound on Faloop.
I wish they did more Garo armors, we have at leasts 3 new series(including) since the collab in 3.5, so many cool armors, Keita Amemiya actually designed bosses for Ivallice raid series, so maybe we could get a event with a actual boss fight

Thank you for this retrospective video!
I till this day I still tell people about the time I encountered someone moaning in Shout chat that people didn't know how to do that Dam Emergency mission fight 15 MINTUES after the Patch going Live.
I wish they didn't kill of palypolima
Is there a Playlist for these retrospectives?
3.5 seemed like an excellent patch in terms of what it contributed to the game. While I don't think that the transition from HW to StB for MSQ was all that smooth, I do recognize that Baelsar's Wall is an iconic and great dungeon. Very cool to learn in detail all the things that were introduced in this patch. Also grateful to you MrHappy for doing this series, it's helpful even for someone who joined in 4.5 of Stormblood. =)
Just want to say I'm really glad you decided to do this series.
As someone that has played the game off and on since 2.0, it's been great getting these retrospects on things I never got to experience at thier exact times. Thank you, as always, Mr. Happy, for doing these videos.
Credit where it's due, your accent on the "SLOPPHEE" is bang on accurate.
Boomer too I guess. Been watching all your videos since you did the ARR 101 series explaining basic things. Played since 2.0 early access. I know it's not as long as you, but I feel it's been an incredible journey.

Poor Ilberd getting clowned on for having the audacity to be from Yorkshire
