Holy QUADS! Literally! Yeah holy quads this might be the most content we’ve ever had released in one patch before! Time to do what I do best and condense the Letter from the producer live letter information as small as I can! A few hours ago the Letter from the Producer Live Part LXX 70 aired and so let’s get to it!

First off is Patch 6.1’s release date is Tuesday April 12th! So actually very very soon! The live letter was kicked off with a trailer that is now available on the official channels.
As always with a main patch let’s do a generic roundup of what to overall expect baseline we’re getting brand new MSQ, brand new sidequests and new role quests with an additional storyline! Brand new side quests with tataru, more hildibrand adventures, custom deliveries to ameliance leveilleur, new unreal trial ultima’s bane, new extreme the endsinger’s aria and new omega adventures beyond the rift.
Now let’s get into the details!
New Beast Tribe quests the elephant Arkasodara beast tribe for battle classes and jobs, so think like pixies from shadow bringers. So this will be absolutely fantastic for leveling combat jobs and have some cool rewards!
Duty Support System
They did a demonstration of the duty support system which fundamentally builds off of the trust system, and it will give you the helpers at the same level as that dungeon so you don’t need to worry about outscaling or leveling them. Largely these allies are based around what role you choose, but once you get to shadowbringers quests or further you can then bring along specific allies through the trust system. Trust system essentially is what the duty support system is through shadowbringers and endwalker content.
Not gonna lie though what stood out the absolute most to me was the thousand maws of totorak dungeon having light in it– since WHEN? Obvious dungeon revamp is obvious!
New Alliance Raid Myths of the Realm Aglaia
They said that it’s more than just simply beauty and that they will be giving us a lot of explanations. In past interviews Yoshi P gave he said In terms of the alliance raid myths of the realm, they put it as
New Ultimate Duty Dragonsong’s Reprise
During the live letter itself they didn’t mention it too much but during past interviews Yoshi P did we got some info I will put here.
Weapons from the new ultimate are said that they might stand out more than usual. I for one am curious what this actually means and I hope tomorrow during the live letter they show previews cause given my personal preference that might really not be something I like… I worry…
Yoshi P did say that people who aren’t aiming for world first for dragonsong’s reprise but still attempt it seriously to set a timeline expectation around 4 to 5 months. But for people who are more casual and take it slowly it may take longer than TEA.
Yoshi P compared it to UCOB which at it’s release was considered universally harder than TEA and UWU. Where UWU and tea were more puzzle solving for the whole fight, but UCOB and the new Dragonsong’s reprise takes it steps further. End time is still under 20 minutes but will be very very long.

Love how much the devs fucking hate hrothgar. They would NEVER make a hairstyle that lobs off catskank or nnuby ears or shaves off aura horns but no hrothgar have to lose their ears to make Controlled Karen work.
So many people are all uguuuu gibbu devs a bweak 🥺 but Im sorry hrothgar had to PAY MONEY to change their hair for three years the devs SUCK for this like theres 0 excuse for doing hrothgar players this badly jesus christ.

I like the new hairstyles but where are the EARS!!!! Hrothgar without ears look so weird with the Snow hairstyle I get it and honestly that one looks great but with the rest I have this "something is missing" feeling. And the second thing is they didn't said anything about whether we need fantasia or not is a bit alarming for me.
But all in all can't wait for 6.1 there are a lot of new cool things.

GARO is pronounced like "Guh-Arrr-Oh" lol. Also we call the class specific sets we get at the end of each expansion artifact armor, or AF for short. It's a term held over from FFXI.
It's okay Cole, you can admit it, the Hroth hairstyles look like garbage. No one is happy with them.
