  1. I imagine 6.1 through 6.5 is going to be a soft reboot. Though Endwalker did end on a more upbeat note compared to previous MSQs, I also feel that the events of the Final Days should have an impact on those regions and that is going to be the "calamity" that people are recovering from come 7.0.

  2. About going to other shards, don’t forget Y’shtola has said in the trailer: “As you know I have been researching ways to travel from the source to one of these reflections.”.

So this is well in the realm of possibility. As we went to the First to help them overcome their problems (albeit with no Ascians around this time), we might go out help folks and understand better life out there. Same as from the races Metheion might be bringing back while we are busy at the Source. Going to the machines realm as more than as just one duty. Going to the dragons realm. Possibilities are very broad.

  3. I would love to see a swashbuckling pirate adventure at some point, where maybe we get our own ship we can customize, maybe take our squadron on or something to do some pirate stuff. Where we stumble upon some cosmic horror, like Cthulhu and the old gods. I know that is a lot to ask for but just thought I would throw out there what I would like to see the most.

  4. I like Chris's idea. I mean, if you think about it like, maybe we should have Kingdom Hearts IV start up a customizable character who ends up with the Keyblade, and was born and raised in Quadratum, and then Heartless attack the city and she's forced to flee to other worlds and learn about the Heartless and then, after Kingdom Hearts IV, Kingdom Hearts V has her go to the Disney worlds and meet Sora, Riku and Kairi. (Not happening as they revealed the Kingdom Hearts IV trailer.) I think a whole new character and her story would make FFXIV fresh and exciting.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love Kess and I would never delete her(not just because she obtained all 10 Zodiac weapons, which was a chore and a half) but going through the steps I put Cisi(who is now deleted, RIP) through is sort of stale. I like Yoshida saying he wants to create a seperate new experience. This would give new players a choice on how to proceed and the lore of the reflections makes it possible – like, we know that each reflection had a Warrior of Light. Maybe we could play as one of our character's reflections in one of the shards, going through similar but unique trials in a new culture world. (Maybe have one of the shards be a modern-day world with advanced technology fueled by aether.)

  5. I think the place G'raha talked about (Corvus?) or whatever will be the bozjan or eurekan place of Endwalker. But I do agree that it should be a non-instanced zone, that would be lovely

  6. About the shard.
I dont think, that i would want to have a other shard arc yet.
It would probally feel like shadowbringer.
And when whe would go to a shard, than i would like the World of darkness.

Whe was there in the tower raid. And whe had in shb a quest about this world. World of darkness would fit for a other shard story
