I am the rich friend and I have to choose which one I buy. Looks like I’ll have to start actually farming something. It’ll probably be a common ore of some kind, because that’s always in demand.
The fighting wasn't between Bahamut and the first humans to reach Meracydia, he was asked to mediate between those warring factions, it was the later Allagan invasion that killed Bahamut.

I really enjoyed the story and thought it did a great job setting things up moving forward. The new dungeon was awesome. Nier Raid was a lot of fun too (although as a whole I'm kinda glad they're over). Upgrading gear is always nice too. Any reason to do more hunts is always welcome with me. I haven't done the Diamond Weapon yet. I'm saving that for tomorrow. But lots to do and having fun.
Oh, and Easter Event was loads of fun. Just laid back and…….chickens!
I am opposite of Brian with dungeons. I like some aesthetics were neat but I can't stand the music after the first run and the bosses were annoying for what times they jump out of the battlefield.
Once they pick a mount to dip in gold worthy of the gil maybe then I'll burn some of my worthless piles of it.
Seriously though, you start gold plating mounts and an epic gold chocobo isn't first on the list? WTH SE?!? lol

Amazing how humans can differ so much in opinion. I thought matoyas was garbage, worst dungeon in the expac. And the new raid is awful.
Regarding the Echo gift, that's a hard thing to grasp because in Stormblood it was used for info dumps so much I started telling my friends in discord they were Echo Dumps. As a writer I know exposition can be hard to avoid but the trick is to hide it so it doesn't feel like an info dump with the narrative. However, the use of the Echo in Stormblood seemed almost excessive to where I was like you guys about is it ours now or still a gift from Haedelyn?
In the MSQ I just finished Il Meg and started the next area. There is a major plot hole in Shadowbringers I hope by the time I get to the newest expansion it's explained because the very beginning of the expansion I felt like the WoL was relegated from the protagonist of the story to a passenger. Maybe the Echo question you guys mentioned ties into it? Maybe not? You guys brought up some things that make me wonder what the writers are doing with the narrative in regards to the WoL's role and (like you) where is Haedelyn?
Hands down best dungeon ever made, we need more like this one!
I just came back from a year break and man I have fell back in love with it. Best MMO right now hands down and it keeps getting better.

respectfully disagree those dungeons are good but the best 2 dungeons this expansion cycle are the 2 where you cant take trust's
btw the level 80 dragoon quest explains how the dragon war started. it wasnt ascians.
Neir raids are the best in the whole game, I can do them mutliple time and never get tired of them. Endwalker has some big shoes to fill

If we lose connection to Hydalen. I'd say we lose the gift. Because back when we first met Midgardsormr didn't he sever the connection to Hydalen causing us to temporarily lose the blessing of light? Which we then regained slowly through our actions in HW.

Arenvald, like Krile and Minfilia, is one of the Scions who has the Echo. What we don't know is what that means in regards to what we found out in Shadowbringers.
I may have missed the explanation on this but what is the obsession with gil dumps? What is the goal by having super expensive things? What do they hope to accomplish in game?

18:30 I’d actually argue that the next manifestation is an improvement upon the first, much like evolution, thus meaning the lunar primals could be more powerful than the original. I guess bahamut isn’t a great example given the fact that original bahamut was a raid and lunar bahamut was kind of a joke

I don't think we would lose the echo as i don't think its actually a gift from Hydaelyn. I think its been strongly hinted its left over ascian creation magic. Also as shown in shadowbringers its just a gift when given Hydaelyn using to communicate thinking its from her.
I guess I don't necessarily agree or align with Chris's take on the pixie beast tribe seeming unimportant when you're dealing with grand scale things. I've played the game since 2.0 and have always thought of myself as an adventurer first, Scion second, and world savior third. The game has NEVER been about just these big huge things happening and they're the ONLY things happening in the world. I mean, the whole reason people didn't really believe that we killed the Sultana is because of all our ordinary good works in the world and not just the fact that we stopped Gaius that one time. It's also weird that he pointed at the pixie beast tribe quest without mentioning any of the others because they all serve to further world development in their own way without getting in the way of the main story. The Dreamweaver story is also unique in that NO ONE ELSE CAN SEE TYR BEQ unless they choose to be seen but WE are bound to Titania so we are able to perceive them and start that storyline. Had we not then those children would have continued to have nightmares and probably had a rough go of life. In that regard, helping them is no different from helping any of the other countless individuals that we have in the past because it's WHAT WE DO and is seemingly programmed into our very souls as we follow in the footsteps of Azem wandering the world and helping people with their problems, big OR small.
