FFXIV Paladin Clean Loop Rotation – Patch 6.3

Paladin’s rotation’s been changed! Follow along as I walk you through a clean loop rotation that doesn’t require any hard cast Holy Spirits!
With the changes to Paladin we’re going to see Palace of the Dead Behemoth floor changes in burst, no dot management in PvE raid content, and overall in my opinion a smoother experience for new tanks. We’re tankier with the reintroduction of Bulwark!

Hope this helps you get your paladin opener down pat and the rotation flowing nicely!

Let me know how you’re coming along and what you think of this rotato!

  1. Is it correct to say you could do 5 holy spirits instead of the 1 atonement + holy spirit any time you come out of burst with more than 5k mana for a 60 potency increase?
I just tested it and it works out fine. if you have less than 5k mana you can do the 1 atonement adjustment and go back to it after your next burst

  2. I recognize it's ultimately insignificant but I'm curious if you have anything to offer in terms of the level 70 and 80 rotations for people progging ultimates on new PLD.

  3. Good explanation that kind of confirms what I was working out. That being said, this is a far more janky and worse rotation than what we previously had. While we can skip the hardcasts, the fact that we still have to drop atonements just to fit the whole thing to 60 seconds is pretty bad.

The last rotation wasn't great, but at least it felt like a natural progression of phases between the dots than whatever this "random bs go" rotation is.

  4. Tried out new PLD during the new trial boss. I had the most part down thanks to the dungeon even before the video.

It feels really nice to have bulwark back and to have Devine veil actually cover us too.

My only gripe so far is my muscle memory betraying me. I keep spamming Holy Spirit instead of using it on the fancy blade combo.

  5. Never really see the point of these rotation videos. Isn't it just simple to click onto the new glowing skills rotation? I'm just assuming this is mostly for those ultimate hardcore players getting the most out of their job to hit DPS checkmark

But I guess I give it a try this time around.
