FFXIV Oceanian Data Center is opening on January 25th, and I’m very excited about returning to Final Fantasy XIV after what felt like a long break!

As a lot of you know, Final Fantasy 14 was suffering from its own success with the waves of WoW Refugees and other interested gamers flooding FFXIV Data Centers over the past year or so, causing World congestion, queues and general realm instability, which made it very hard to enjoy the game for many of us.

I’ve stopped playing some time back in August 2021 because I couldn’t enjoy FFXIV from Sydney Australia, even after starting to use VPN, but now I’m really happy and excited to hear Yoshi-P announce the opening of the new FFXIV Oceanian Data Center.

In this video I’ll share my excitement and thoughts about the announcement, as well as the future plans for the content of this channel.

  3. I always know the lag always bothered ya. It would of bothered me as well. Glad the oceanic servers are coming in so soon for a lot of players in that area. Those worlds are brand new so a lot of "contests" or "world first" activities will hit hard there. Building the new housing area in Ishgard again will be fun to watch on the side for oceanic servers.
