  1. There should be an option to change the visuals and/or animations of certain spells and attacks on FFXIV to make it more unique per person without breaking any rules

  2. AHH! Amon's mods! Another great creator, friend, and fun one to collaborate with. They actually do a lot of customizing, especially with their VFX textures. They've basically perfected mixing Nier themes with existing job mechanics, and the text textures really carry the concept so well. The plane for Reaper is actually a pretty challenging thing too, because we found that its assets are a lot different than most creatures or summoned weapons (Like the Avatar) in the game. Our hypothesis is that the asset is actually directly taken from Nier and put into FFXIV without doing any sort of conversions, which makes editing it almost impossible because when trying to inject it back into the game it becomes unrecognizable. Amon and I spent a long time trying, and came to the conclusion that edits for it would be limited to just doing animations.

Also, trust me, Amon will almost definitely get to Warrior. They are a dedicated creator and the improvements they've made since they first began have been impressive.

  3. Hmm…one thing about paid mods that worries me is if it's custom made assets or not. Good luck to you if it's not and it's all reused assets cuz that can cause legal issues. I would assume companies don't look too kindly on those who sell an asset of theirs under the pretense of mod. But either way this is nice. 👍

  4. NOW LISTEN UP! Xeems showed you these mods to spread awareness on what to avoid. (xffing) Do not under any circumstances, download or encourage to download these mods because that's against Square Enix's TOS. (xffing)

  5. Really well made, as would be expected from a paid mod, but I am very against paying for mods in a game where you could be banned for using them or talking about them.

  6. I've only gotten through part of the White Mage, but as a longtime un-modded White Mage player, the motions the character is using are unchanged. It's only the graphical expression of those moves that has been altered. Literally the character is doing the same motions as they've ever done. So it's less work? Not sure. But I would love to see actual legitimate options to change a job's "flavoring". I might not ever use them, but I'd love to see them for those who would like to use them without risking their account.
