  1. Monk feels great when you have everything up and can take a priority target down from 100% in a couple button presses. I also like how thunderclap gives a shield to allies, a very small but helpful part of the kit.

  2. Monk has been a blast in PVP & CC. I hope they tune SAM down a bit because I hate 1v1ing them. It is nice to be able to pick off targets consistently though. MNK vs MNK 1v1's last forever lol

  3. It almost feels like Lee sin from league legends. With a stun. And one shot potential from enlightenment phoenix meteor drive. And tankiness with riddle of earth. And a cleanse. and silly amount of damage if he records damage taken with riddle of earth… Ok really wth is monk

  4. Mnk pvp is so much fun to me. Riddle of Earth makes me tanky and rising pheonix into hadouken hits hard and the displacement is nice in party disruption and pushing them into bomberman tiles. XD

My only question is how the limit works. It reads as though it does double damage if theier guard is up but it always kinda just hits for 12ish k. Not sure if thats a visual bug or I am not understanding it properly. The limit break charges so fast tho its nice to pick someone off if their hp is low enough. 🙂

  5. Thanks for the video. I've created a new alt whose only battle class for the entirety up to 7.0 is going to be Monk, he won't take a single battle job other than the one he starts with, Pugilist. (Because I actually played a halfling monk in a one-shot tutorial session of D&D in my local game shop, it was fun and funny because I played him as a man who was raised by a sensei and had never seen a tiefling before…

Me: (as my PC) "Miss, I've never seen someone like you before…"
Other player (as her PC, a tiefling thief): "EXCUSE ME?!? YOU'VE NEVER SEEN A WOMAN BEFORE???"
Me: /oops/ "No, my mentor taught me about women in my training, but… are you a half-dragon?"

Ah good times. 😹) I wanted to relive that experience and I might do PvP on this character. (I need a trophy for PS4 to enter one match.)
