  1. Hopefully this video is on a lighter note <3 I love FFXIV and I'm happy that the INCREDIBLE MAJORITY of people see I only want the best for this game. I love FFXIV and I love this community. We may disagree but the maturity, the kindness and love I've felt in spite of it has been AMAZING! Thank you all so much!!!

  2. people need to CHILL, most of this shit is a JOKE, yeah you get the actual mean P.O.S. but that applies to literally everyone, the best defence is ignorance in this case, they are called trolls for a reason, they feed off attention and starving them of that will eventually get them back under their bridges.

I play a Lightning inspired fem roe and get a few SNU SNU!! jokes lol.

  3. I've had no clue Hrothgar have had it this hard. Most Hrothgar I meet are usually super cute or very friendly. They'll randomly gimmie a head pat and just start a conversation out of nowhere.

  4. I love how respectful you are being on topics which you dont partake in. My first thought around seeing the lifters was ERP. Consent is key and it I am glad you can express your opinions in such a light hearted way. Best wishes Cole <3

  5. This sort of thing is drama? This sort of news like.. really? XD

I followed this channel because of the content you provide and I mirror most of the sentiments you have towards the game – keep up the great work!

  6. Sending love your way! Glad you take it well, but gotta ratio those homophobic people who think you're a furry 😂 Oh, and you're voice is a million times better than the ai voice. Please keep doing your recordings yourself 🙏

  7. It sucks that people are actively seeking things to be offended about. It is not possible to cater to everyone at the same time. Be who you want to be and live your life for you.

  8. Cole I hope you feel better man hope the real shit passes and things improve. In other news, I wish my life was so unproblematic that I could have a problem with a fictional chair, for a fictional race, for a game.

  9. Are people just bored? It's a cute chair for a tiny race. I don't see a problem here. Am I missing something? What a weird thing to be angry about.

And…I did not even think of that lifter as something sexual. What. Really? ….ooooookay….That said…ERP in general is also not my cup of tea. I stay far, far away from such communities. Nothing against them, just not interested.

And I didn't know Hrothgar were stereotyped in such a way and I'm sorry to hear that. People projecting their own fetishes and assumptions on others are bottom of the barrel. And as a soon-to-be Fem Hroth, I know for an absolute fact I'm gonna get some horrid messages thrown my way too, but that's what the block/report systems are for.

Also I'm pretty sure there's some sort of tree table or something that mentions Miqote loving it. Forgot the name but I have it personally in my apartment. Was there an uproar about that too, or is this lalafel lifter nontroversy the product of our current overly sensitive society?

  10. I'm gay
    I play Hrothgar
    I am a furry

    Why do I play Hrothgar

    THEY ARE ADORABLE
That's it, I made a macro that poke emote "boops (player name) snoot" and I get replied "boop"
    Or emote pet "good kitty"

If people want to trash on my for playing hroth, ok I'll blacklist them, so far, no one's said anything mean to a hroth (unless they were being deliberately bad at that class, not because they were hroth)

((I even joined a hroth only fc))

  11. Don't see the problem with Hrothgar; they're cool! Also, I want a back scratching post just so I can watch my Hrothgar and Lalafell alt scratch their backs with it like a bear in the wild. xD

  12. Wait so THIS is the lalafell drama??? That’s pathetic. Like I play a hrothgar and I’m gay and I’m a furry so I see more hate for every aspect of me in ffxiv just casually in comments and forums and stuff than lala players get for playing their short people.

Like despite the internet being held together by duct tape and furries and the vast majority of us being queer (you make a character for fun and while you work on their story you realize some things im just saying), being a furry is still considered the most wrong thing you could do. Like we all don’t play ffxiv as our own fictionalized characters.

As for my experience with hrothgar? In game nothing negative yet. Honestly I know they go over well with the gays and what can I say I like seeing my giant lion dilf. But I actively enjoy watching hrothgar players on YouTube bc they’re seemingly more kindhearted.

Kinda why I subscribed, I heard you mention your bf out loud like it was nothing and you play hrothgar AND you like healing. You always try to approach real topics with the seriousness they deserve and not give nonsense bullshit a pass (like this bs lala drama). I do agree that SE should give us bigger and beefier adjustments for our characters tho bc I want my guy to be caked up. I don’t even ERP I just like my Hrothgar looking either sexy or pulling off a good outfit.

Also on the terms of consent, it bothers me that people pick the least sexy race and then are upset and trying to say there’s digital racism bc they look adorable and no one wants to fuck them in a video game with waaaay too many hot people in it for people to give it up for just adorable. And the fact that people can’t understand consent just bc they know you’re gay or play something like hrothgar, just pisses me clear off.

Anyways, love your work Cole! Hope everything goes well with ya buddy! I’m going to bed now so I can work on being the beef for my bf hehe, you have a good [insert time]!

  13. Personally, I dislike the whole "you think YOUR race gets hate? try HROTHGAR" sentiment that makes it seem like a competition. Just like how some people don't know what Hrothgar players may experience, the same goes for other races. Instead of it being competition, I think it would be best for everyone involved to be empathetic, civil, and supportive of each other.

That said, yes the Lalas who do take this furnishing so seriously are being unreasonable and weird about it.

  14. A: why you play lalafell ?
    B: because they're child-like, smol and cute !
A: nice ! but why you had issue with that chair ?
B: because they treat us as child-like character, small, and being short. this is racist.
    A: ????

  15. My mum thinks this item is absolutely hilarious and she plays a Lala because it's short like her.
Me and my brother got her in to the game, we have been playing since 2014 her only the past couple of years. She loves anything specifically for Lala's and if we add it to our fc rooms for her character she thinks it's wonderful.
Her whole FC room is Carbuncles and Moogles 🤣
Honestly we need more race specific gimik items it would be funny seeing what the devs could come up with 🤣 cat toys for Miqo and Lion Boys (can even be used by Bunny Boys or Girls) a wall mounted hay rack for the Buns.

  16. Here's a small idea I had… What if these Lalas are angry, since some weirdos wanna do ERP as Lalas, but they can't defend themselves anymore saying they aren't children because of them getting an item that's synonymous with babies. Just a thought, opinions? ^^

  17. As a Lala player, I find this item hilarious. It's also entirely lore friendly and I wish it would have existed earlier, perhaps I could have cleared table heights in cutscenes. 😀

  18. Actually thought the chair looks pretty cause it reminded me n the bar chairs at one of the bars I used to love to go to but who didn't make it out of 2020. I put it up and got some very offensive comments from my ward neighbour who asked why I'd insult them like that so I removed the chair and be done with it

  19. Actually stange that you get this bs for your chosen ingame race… Everything I always hear about Hroths is that they are usually some of the best, relyable players you could wish for…

As for making jokes about races… Hell, on one of my first nightclub visits, people gave me catnip to trade to cat girls – as an ingame joke. I can imagine it sucks getting banned from venues as a lala player (and I've witnessed some of that myself, and found it really strange… I mean, let them enjoy themselves, no matter how their character looks), and being the but of bad jokes on a daily basis, yes, sucks, too. But yeah, thats human behavior for you – which also occasionally sucks. Reality check: some people just are like that. And we cant change it. We can only change how we react to it. So, to any lala player out there, just shrugg it off and go away. Dont bother with those people, put them on your black list, and move on. As for the chair… please… just… please… its a bloody housing item, nothing more. Again, realitiy check: its a bundle of pixels, and if thats enough to enrage you, you really, and I mean really need to re-asses your priorities in life.
