  1. Seriously even if it is some issue that is really important to fix (Viera/Hrothgar hat, housing etc) and everyone and their mom knows that it IS a problem, it doesn't validate the slurs, yelling, and curse used to say it. Like, seriously I want to believe that the one over the other side of the screen is actual human who function normally in society, at least at minimal degree. Like, seriously you pay subscription based game and there is no method of playing the full game f2p style you should have healthy stable income.

Quazii spent 13 minutes talking about it and I agree to him. We're allowed to critique the game, of course we can, the game isn't perfect. If it is, we'll have unlimited glamor dresses for all our necessity, have UltraHD 4K graphics, have our own house without archaic system, etc, the list goes on. But raging and sending threats aren't going to fix it. Guys, you're working classes and you should know firsthand on how to fix stuff when you made a mistake in it. Take a deep breath, evaluate the mistake, and make resolution for it. In this case, just write what is wrong and your suggestion in the forum and sent it there. Done. Raging doesn't solve problem and if you're math maniacs, you would understand it even more that emotion clouds your judgment a lot.

Sure we're not a game dev and tbh we don't know what is going on in the dev room. But we can always sent suggestion on how it might actually be good with proper words. Remember that unlike whatever game you're on before this, FF14 dev team (CBU3) actually read and process the complaint manually. Yes, there is no AI over their customer service desk. It is also the work of newcomer most of the time too so you're going to drove people to depression. If you've your fair experience on bad customer, you should know how painful it is to meet one.

Seriously guys, remember that we're human not animal. We're adults, not infant. Raging for the sake of raging is something you leave when you get to college and society. I guess streamer does job by showing such exaggerated emotion but it is a 'show' aka an 'act'. Put difference in fiction and reality.

  2. I am so glad that it's not trying to be perfect. I swear I almost have something akin to ptsd from WoWs balancing goals, I'm so afraid it will happen in FFXIV one day too due to community minority rhetoric. I think Yoshi P and team does a decent enough job, but they too aren't perfect and that's fine.

  3. Its sad because all the bs from this past year is turning me and my group of friends off from the game and its not even bc the game…its the disgusting stanbase. These neets need to touch grass bc they are single handedly killing the game, not the devs.

  5. I hate when people feel like if you do not rage means you are simping. That is nuts, why you did not meet the quota of saying how much you dislike it! There are tons of things I wish were fixed and slowly they have fixed some of them. It sucks but as long as they continue to fix and communicate and push great content. I am not going to flip the closest table near me. The game is fun and as far as I am concerned still worth my money. Mistakes will happen I know this and when they do I will point it out and be like, I do not like this here's why.

However, they have more then earned a mistake here and there. Lots of things have come out with the smallest of issues. If you are not praising them to high heavens for every little good thing they put out that does do well, then do not be trying to dip them in lava just because they fucked up. You can say you do not like it go ahead. No ones is saying not to, type up an essay, no one will stop you.

  6. I'm not too worried about this, I know they'll fix it. Some of these FFXIV players need to chill TF out, it isn't that serious. I been playing since 2.0 and seen all the changes they've done to the jobs. Ya'll know MCH/BRD used to be a caster yeah? Give the developers benefit of the doubt and let them do their thing. People malding and wasting energy over the most minor inconvenience. Smfh.

  7. We must get the entire dev team fired and then I'll be happy. Its DISGUSTING that a fight I'll never do had to have its hp reduced by 1%. I worked hard for my mentor crown and know everything about the game I'm the obvious replacement for Yoshi P.

  8. imo it just seems to me it's people from audience past when you did make WoW content and the focus of your channel was WoW….They're prob too adamant on the "fact" that WoW is the superior MMO and wouldn't even think to consider playing anything else…ya'know typical Tribalism, which happens on both sides of the fence as we've seen. Idk I wouldn't take it to heart at all, just move on and let haters do what they do best, Hate.

Edit: I do wanna clarify that there is also a mixture of XIV players in these complaints too via with Job Issues(MCH), and so on. So I'm not directly pointing the finger at the WoW community, because I'm even one from the XIV community that is not happy with the Devs decisions on this matter. Just I'm not gonna sit there and try to throw shit in Quazii's face for "not raging hard enough" which is just ridiculous to begin with.

  9. So one thing I will say is that I'm just kind of tired of the it's not as bad as wow. When momo a very respected high-end raider tweeted out how job balance isn't great and explained his detail someone tweeted at least its not as bad as WOW and I just don't know how that's relevant. As long as it's constructive I don't mind criticism but again I'm kind of tired of the but wow is way worse argument. It also feeds into the tribalism between the games. That's just my opinion thanks for your videos.

  10. I'm way out of the loop on how angry people got. I'm shocked they were so mad. It's been since heavensward since they nerfed a boss lol what the hell is wrong with people. That's a very good track record and one mess up doesn't mean you just yell at them. They probably see the issues. Wait till 6.25 for changes. Most of the things most people are mad about don't even raid week one.

  11. I mained MCH since HW and will continue to main MCH no matter what state it might be in. Reason? I have fun. If I’m having fun, I’m good. Will I experiment with other jobs along the way? Well sure! Who knows what I might start liking later, but in my heart I love my gun & Automaton Queen.

It’s so strange to hear about such vitriol towards devs that not only acknowledge making mistakes, but explain what led to them making said mistakes while also wanting to be better. Honestly, the angry ones should probably step away for a brief moment, take a deep breath, and if needed, perhaps take a short break away from the game to collect themselves.

I understand that their anger is likely less trolling and more coming from a place of passion over a game they love to play with others as efficiently as possible, but some people take it way too far. As I said before, this is ultimately a video game at the end of the day, and its purpose is to entertain. If one is not entertained and is instead enraged, perhaps take a break and find some other source of entertainment and come back later? Even Yoshi-P has encouraged taking breaks from this game as needed.

Some people will probably respond to me with something like “playing something else is NOT the solution to dev mistakes, you ignorant SWINE, so stop spouting this nonsense and quit excusing their bullshit” and they may also be right. But we’re also not slaves to an ever-changing game, or at least we shouldn’t be. Devs are human too and thus need time to both address and integrate player feedback, so what will an upset player do while the devs work on fixes they want? Patiently stare at their screen and/or AFK in Limsa?

I’m just rambling at this point, but you get my drift, I hope.

  12. Basically, the reason why you didn't rage is because you're an adult, and these people are children who want validation from others they see as authorities, and you didn't give them the validation they crave so therefore you're a "bad person" and now they're going to screech pointlessly and aimlessly at you as well.

Do settle down, all of you.

  13. Typical Final Fantasy 14 Shadow cabal response. Not a single mention of the need for cowbell, how long will you continue to do this? When will you rise up to the occasion and say God damn it Final Fantasy 14, We need some cowbell.

  14. Never thought there could be such an uproar over a 1% decrease in boss health. Then again I'm still puzzled where the problem is or who is complaining. Like, every game with multiple classes or characters will have times where your favorite gets left in the dust for a time. Chill out. If "It's not optimal" is enough to make you stop playing the job then that's some weak resolve. Play it anyway, make suggestions on how it could be better, have constructive discourse.

  15. it's baffling to me that so many people exaggerate these issues as if the game is ruined from now on. Is the balance whack for these first raid weeks or even EW as a whole? Yes. People are even excluding MCH and RPR from party finders! This does not mean "the game is dogshit" or whatever. The last YoshiP statement was a great read and I'm glad they're being more transparent with their balance reasoning and open to communication.
They seem to be in the right direction and I'm sure they learned a lot from these recent events; I'm not a fan of the 2min meta, but if that's where they want to go, I just hope they keep tweaking jobs for it so they're at least balanced around that.
6.25 brings savage dungeons and we'll have additional balance for those too, let's see!

  16. Did they really lower the hp of a voss by 1% and bow people are losing their minds over that?
Why even with the stupid babyrage, people cleared the raid tier week before any tunings happened.

  17. I was one of the individuals who commented on the issues and I'll clarify that I am very happy with the game and will continue to be patient, but I will continue to dispel the notion that there's nothing wrong and that I 100% believe they can do better, that being said, I did not come from WoW but another game called Mabinogi and I can it was far worse off when I was playing (8 years total), so I definitely understand why the developers and players need to maintain a good relationship with one another. I lost my hone in the world of Erinn after reaching lvl 5600+ and becoming one of the top Royal Alchemists on my Server before I quit and would ask for people to please be kind and give only constructive criticism because in Mabi we'd go almost 2 years between any new content releases and we'd deal with issues and problems for months before changes were made to, don't create a disconnect between the Devs and us and create a useful and respectful dialogue

  18. i really like this, ive gone and made my forum post on how as a RDM main i feel left behind for the current balance, it was just hey this sucks and id like to see some improvement. i think this really got out of hand because we usually see yoshi p says something about future plan. i personaly would feel a lot better if yoshi P. had acknowledged that balance does need work and it is coming but all he said was that it cant be done now. im hopefull that there will be something for those more severly lacking jobs with the PLD rework. i just hope ppl calm down….yoshi P even says in every live letter to go to the forums with any concerns, if were not using the tools the devs give us to communicate these thing properly how are they gonna get around to the changes we want

  19. I main Reaper, Machinist and Red Mage and yet somehow everyone around me seems to be malding about all of this way harder than I ever could be, and I do Savage lol.

Yeah, it's very disappointing and needs to be fixed, but it's not affecting my day, life, or even progression in the raid tier. And if it IS affecting your daily life…
…I would SERIOUSLY recommend you evaluate your position and maybe take a break.
