  1. Going from Alexander 12 Normal which was super challenging to Pandemonium 12 Normal which doesn't even feel like a final boss is disappointing. We don't need Savage difficulty but A12 was the perfect level for non savage. Same going from Weeping City which took many wipes to conquer on day 1 to the latest Alliance Raid that we managed without wiping on first try. We need the challenge back!

  2. As someone who has just recently started Shadowbringers and so far has found the game difficult enough (without ever touching extremes or ultimates), I find it hard to discern if this is an opinion veteran players have (which make sense, if you’ve been playing a game for ten years you will find it super easy) or if this is something even Sprouts agree.

  3. As someone 2 years new to MMORPG's, I think a relaxed MSQ is great, although a little more bite wouldn't hurt, but definitely making sure that optional difficulty bridge is there for optional content is necessary.

  4. Partially i agree, partially i disagree. Thing is, we have duty roulettes and penalties for leaving. And the thing is, i am willing to help players and stuff but i see some real issues with bad players. Let's take the first lvl 90 dungeon as example, just recently (before Xbox) i had it in duty roulette and we kept and kept dying, every boss at least twice, Rala was an agonizing seven pulls so how should that enhance if things get more difficult? Right, it would get toxic like wow. Those people that right now scream they want a more difficult game are those that in Dawntrail will bash that other, less skilled or experienced players, will waste their time and will be those that complain about an raise of subscription prices or a bigger cash shop focus because the game starts to be off-putting for people with less time. (Please research server and bandwidth prices before you claim FF makes such a shit tone of money) It does but not to the extent plain sub price x player count calculations get you.

  5. Been playing since the end of HW anything outside extremes, savage and ultimates (and criterion which needs better rewards for the challenge that it is) is incredibly easy. To the point of boring. Getting anything that isn't max level (and even then) and doesn't have actual bad party members feels like a chore.

I'd expect at least a wipe or two on new fights in even easy msq dungeons when they are new but that doesn't really happen. Though I also almost alway play with at least my boyfriend and one of us is usually healer so we trust each other to not die too much XD

I'm seeing now that some dungeons are so easy full mechanics are just not done. This hurts new players imo. They aren't learning them to build on later mechanics. Some aren't learning what to do when pulls go bad that can save a run, thus not learning their class.

Also people who level skip/msq as a new player are giving themselves a huge handicap. My first unlocked tank was DRK and even level 30 was too overwhelming to jump into a level 30 dungeon right away. I started with lower levels then started PLD from scratch to learn from the start.

  6. Honestly I do mentor roulettes enough to know that the game is difficult for most beginner players unless they have backgrounds in other MMOs. This is my first MMO and after years of playing I still struggle with some jobs. There are alot of casual players that rather just mash buttons instead of learning a sophisticated rotation. You may not "need your brain" to get through MSQ but you still get toxic players that expect you to play like a raider when we're just doing our best to learn our jobs casually.

  7. I don’t know man, my job is stressful enough. I play games to relax, not be stressed. I don’t understand why everyone wants things to be harder, isn’t life hard enough? I just spent my day pulling a 500 pound hydraulic cylinder out of a truck, under a debris body that would kill me if it came down. I was covered in dirt, grease and hydraulic oil. I couldn’t see through my glasses half the time because they were so dirty. To me, playing a game that’s a little easy that I can turn my brain down, and have fun with is amazing. I don’t need more hard things in my life, I need less. 😝

  9. Not wrong, it's mind numbingly easy and the current player base is trash, yoshis been scrapping the bottom of the barrel for a while now and it's starting to show, anything for a few more subs
