  1. A lot of people gave the /pray emote outside Fortemps manor and gave away Hot Chocolate (the drink Haurchefant gives us abd Alphinaud during our woes after the bloody banquet). There were Paladins everywhere performing Passage of Arms in his memory.

  2. Edmont and his family were the only ones in Ishgard who I was sure about that I do not need to fear a backstab at any point in the story. Solid island of kindness and honesty in the sea of political whirlpools. I loved the narration of his memoirs. And that every time we winded up in Ishgard again after Heavensward he always shown up to pay us a visit. Critchlow's voice brought this character to life with force and me and my friends couldn't help but to join the vigil infront of the manor for a while.

  3. Last night, I was the only one in Masamune who stood alone in front of Fortempts Manor with the bonfire being lit.

I used /pray emote few times before I went inside trying to at least talking with him again, somehow I wished they already finished recording his dialogues for 6.0 so we could hear him bid us goodbye before we go to the moon .

  4. Rip Stephen critchlow. Seeing the community reaction to this untimely passing, is truly a sight to behold. I have never been more proud to be apart of this game. The people who play this game really are special.

  5. Just started playing FFXIV again and his voice acting stood out to me absolutely. His emotion hit me and that is very rare at my age. His voice shall live on for so many others, long after his passing.

  6. It feels strange, but it feels as though Lord Edmont himself has passed away, and that is as big of a gut punch feeling as watching Huarchefant die. It doesn't help that the last time we see him is in the the other universe where everyone has died, and he escapes with Wedge and Biggs and presumably succumbs to the fate of that world in the end.
