One important thing to know is that patch 6.1 just came out in Final Fantasy XIV, so people might be busy playing the game instead of playing with twitter.
the FFXIV likes were close to the same ration as the Genshin likes in the retweet stats he looked at (just under half), interesting science!
90% of those likes are from chat which should be thought as bots, genshin is obviously more popular

I play both genshin and FFXIV and genshin impact definitely has more engagement because end game doesn't exist so all that the community has to live on twitter

Ff is something I would play only sometimes especially when new expansion releases or after a while. Genshin is something I would play time and again.

I played genshin when it released and stopped just a few months ago, FOMO quest were stupid and dumb, specially when some of it has main story stuff
