FFXIV Gil Making: The BEST Moneymaker in Endwalker (So Far) (6.05)

Hey guys! Coming at you with another gil making video, this time how to make gil without using crafting or gathering at all! This is in my opinion the best moneymaker in endwalker so far, for patch 6.05

  1. I found that stacking multiple buffs doesn't give me any advantage… the potion and squadron buff together give me just below 25% bond per run (being pentamelded) on each piece of gear… better crown pie does not push me above 25%… and taking only the superior spiritbond potion still give ~23-24% per run… so with only spiritbond potion, which is argueably the easiest buff to get… you need 5 runs anyway.. can't change that.
Please let me know if I am missing something. Thanks and awesome work, furdaddy <3

  2. My moneymaker has been… farming the undercutters. Find an item with massive undercutting, buy out the cheapest few, repost high. Some risk involved, so I have to be aware of demand, but it has still made me millions without crafting a thing.

  3. This does sound like a really good idea. * Goes to check the MB * Aaaaaand it’s gone… Haha I mean that is kind of how it feels right now. But seriously, is the crafting scene going to fix itself here in the next patch or two? Or is this just going to be an afterthought like how it became in WoW? I really hope not, because getting my crafting and gathering ready for 6.05 was a lot of fun, so I hope it becomes viable again. I actually had hopes of getting a medium house when the rules change, which was the actual goal of making the Gil in the first place

  4. This is a good idea! Also means more tomes earned for mats/gear. I was making okay gil back watching which secondary mats on the MB were going for high at HQ quality, but it's a pain because someone comes in and tanks them every few hours. I'm kind of surprised that food/pots aren't higher priced, but I guess most of the savage raiders have their own sources (I know my static does).

  5. I just gather what's in demand, I know it's not the best money maker abut I genuinely really enjoy gathering. Eventually I might level some crafters beyond culinarian but I honestly have a good time just going around gathering while watching stuff on my other monitor!

  6. 2 days crafting and selling .. made 30 mil. Didn't even try hard. All you new people are just bad. Everything is so easy now. Imagine growing up in ARR and HW times and actually working to level your crafters or for your materia. 😂

  7. For money im still doing Rarefied Sykon Bavarois (collectable for purple scrip ) which cost me 14k total even less sometimes and i sold the materia control X for 36 to 48k each i also get the Ovibos Milk thought my retainer which at lv 82 with cryptlurker gear can get up to 7 each hour and meanwhile by doing this spam dungeon to sell material with tomestone aswell so i don't spent too much time/gather thing and get a decent amount of money w/o having to spent too much effort ( might be better way but still ok ) and with the spiritbond potion you can even get some others materia in the same time by doing collectable o/

  8. Hey Fur! I saw that the spiritbonding I've been getting (on pentamelded 580 gear, with superior spiritbonding potion) is approx 22% per dungeon. That means it's basically 10 materia per 5 dungeons? Is tha correct?

  9. Doing 80 Solo maps IMO is one of the best money makers still in the game. The maps are dirt cheap and can drop shell leather, Indigo cloth. If your quick with map locations you can easily make 2-3mil a hour. There is some RNG and shell leather does have some variance in price between servers but its so easy to make the cost of your maps back. Great vid though.

  10. i just spam leveling roulettes with the adventure in need bonus. you get about 15k for dungeon completion and 70-90k for the materia you get and your average run takes like 10-15 minutes. if your really lucky to you'll get a really short fight like one of the primals that takes like 2 minutes to beat. i also send my retainers out to get crystals! on my server fire and wind crystals go for about 114 gil per crystal and my retainers bring back 120 every 40mins. more retainers you have the better. if the price on crystals fall to low tho i usually send them out to gather material i can use to craft leve quest turn ins.

  11. I found my method is doing Treasure Hunt maps. Even brackets from ShB and StormB can make a good scratch. Cloth of Happiness for example sells for like 478k gil on my server and doing maps nets you about 600k to 1 mil if done right. Its a time sink though and usually is best to get a full group.

  12. For some reason this overmeld lv 90 gear fight to get spiritbond don’t work for me other than lv 90 dungeon (only 1 right now) lv 90 one fight get 21% other lv 83 dungeon get 1%

  13. Hi there! I don't know if it's useful or common knowledge, but i found this macro very useful with this method.

    /isort condition armoury spiritbond des
    /isort execute armoury

This macro sorts your armory by spiritbond %, so the completed ones are at the top of the list starting left, and you only have to click and extract materia from them in order.

Just my 2 cents, kudo to Fur Daddy for the useful and always-on-point video and guides! 😀
