  1. Just incase you didn't understand the cultural references here is a list of things the FATEs are referring to (let me know if I missed any):

We Fought a Dzu is a reference to the movie/book, We Bought a Zoo.
Falling Down is a reference to the 1993 film of the same name
The Metal Gears fates are a reference to the Metal Gear video game series. Metal Gears Rising is a reference to the original title of the action spin off game Metal Gear Rising. After the game was nearly cancelled and switched developers the game was rebranded Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, which is what Metal Gears Revengeance is referring to. Metal Gears Revengeance 2 is a joke that Metal Gear Rising Revengeance never got a sequel.
Coeurls Chase Boys Chase Coeurls is a reference to the 2014 lead single, Girls Chase Boys, by Ingrid Michaelson.

  2. I appreciate you telling of alternate paths of getting some of these rewards, because it's hard to find help to kill some of these, and I don't really care about achievements.

  3. If you like the Ishgardian Half Barding, but don't want to go through the trouble of getting having that FATE spawn, you can get the nearly identical barding for Centurio seals at the vendor in Ishgard. The only difference is that eyes aren't exposed and have armor over them, to be honest it looks better than the Half Barding.

  4. Hey man, I wanted to drop by to say your vids have been incredibly helpful. I took the plunge into FFXIV a few months ago and haven't stopped yet. Grinded DoH/DoL to cap before the Stormblood addition to the trial and have been having a whale of a time. It's been small channels like yours that have answered the bajillion questions I've had, and I want you to know that doesn't go unappreciated. I also really appreciate that you focus on trial players and getting the most out of it. I myself am trial at the moment, and I would not have stuck around for nearly as long if it hadn't been for your videos showing what you can do.
