FFXIV Endwalker – You're Not Alone Quest Cutscene Reaction [THE walk]

It’s a damn shame i had to stop right before the final quest 🙁
It was getting late and there was emergency maintainence happening soon and i didnt want to start the quest and be logged out mid cutscene.
So i will finish the Endwalker quest tomorrow when i awake!!!

  2. They came out swinging so hard with this final area, and this climb was so next level. I could only hold back the tears right until the rainbow steps, Happy Endwalker, and best wishes on the rest of this amazing MSQ journey. 🙂

  3. The slow walk, with every few steps being a gutpunch to the feels, it really felt like such a transcendent set-piece, Ultima Thule in general was a zone that would strike you, if you ever suffered from Depression or still are fighting it, that zone will hit you like a truck loaded with bricks.

  4. I'll be honest I cried at every scions sacrifice scene but when this part came it turned to rage a metion the at the end pitty. To see so much pain and because you could say she was a child not knowing how to deal with those emotions is just tragic.

  5. I always said, "I always liked the villain of Danganronpa because they achieved what they did without god-like powers. Imagine what they could do with them?" FFXIV answers that question in the most terrifying and glorious of ways.

Edit: Yup, Hauchefaunt got me, too. I literally stopped and cried.

  6. Unfortunately the whole sequence after the Ragnarok launches lost much of the intended impact with me because I had seen it before, many times – in Japanese anime. The final space voyage to the ultimate enemy. The hero’s companions sacrificing themselves to allow the hero to advance, only to miraculously come back later. The final fight between two extremely powerful, extremely skilled enemies devolving into a slugging match. The flight home to a redeemed world… I already knew what was going to happen. But the final dungeon, The Dead Ends, definitely left me shook, especially the last segment of Ra-la. That said, endwalker did succeed in what it sought to do, I think – after finishing the MSQ I looked back on my life, triumphs, failure, regrets… and made some decisions on the way to repentance and amendment. It was almost a religious experience for me

  7. I refuse to do the last quest where you speak to everyone. I just wanna walk into Revenant Toll and see everyone standing there. So this quest i leave sitting there untill the patch 6.1.

  8. I absolutely LOVED the homage to FFIX in the final bits of this! From the “you must take the next step” as Zidane had to do when he had given up hope, to the Ally’s lending their words and strength to you. It was an amazingly beautiful portrayal. …especially cuz the final was basically necron lol

  9. Endwalker is a kick in the chest, man. Just a flood of pathos. The music, the characters, the wonderful finale of this arc in the story of Etheryis.

And before you even make it to the final dungeon; there’s Hades just reminding you of your duty as the traveler, and teasing all the amazing things you’ve yet to see.
