I'm still getting the 2002 error. I've also dc'd multiple times while playing today
Got kicked out after queueing for 2 1/2 hours post-work. Sent into a queue which was 50% longer than the one I'd just gotten through. This is completely unacceptable. Whichever pencil-pusher that did the maths and thought it'd be too expensive to purchase new server equipment given the silicon price hikes, even given the game's exceptional profitability, can go do one. Awful.
The patch now brings back the 90002 error. Thanks SE! I was just able to connect to the queue after like 10 tries. On Gilgamesh, 9,683 queue.
Honestly I expected a better job from Square Enix they are a huge company with lots of resources they aren't some small independent studio they should have been prepared for this I waited 3 hours in queue today from 1 pm too 4 pm.
I'm stubborn enough to sit through the queue. The real pain is having no one to play with because my friends are having a hell of a time getting in.
I finished work at 5, waited on a 4 hour que, got in. 30 mins in, game crashed. Tried to log in again, 7k que. I’m giving up for afew weeks at this point.
i had never been kicked out of game until today currently waiting in queue to get back into game and have gotten 9 2002 errors going from 5000 in queue to 2000 in queue. soooo. idk how much better they are but i don't mind i have the time to wait in queue i feel bad for those who don't tho.
Still having 5k queues on Lich sadly. It's primetime though, but still. Damn… Anywho, as a WoW veteran, a couple of hours waiting is something my body has been accustomed too after 15 years
Primal leviathan had ques even before endwalker came out.
As far as i know i had a 3k,5k and 6k queue today , but no errors . Guess they Are rly doing their best
I'm just playing other games until things get back to normal, looking forward to playing a smooth game soon!
I only have select nights I can play being a family guy. I usually start and boot the game up 30 minutes before I can really play. This is led to maybe 40 to 20 minutes of waiting in queue
in the US… 6:30 pm here… my wife and i are still getting kicked… still 2002 errors… still a que so large im about to cancel our subs
Been rubber banding my controller sticks and painting my model car for the 6,000 person queue. It’s nice being able to leave it on and not get booted
4k line. 2002 kicks me out. Come on patch did nothing
Login was at least twice as fast for me. Got in on prime time, on a heavy server (Faerie). I did experience 2 2002's, but got back on immediately. 4500 queue took about 45 minutes.
I'm hoping the sound issues get fixed soon too.
I got kicked out an hr ago with 2002 error.
So when will the server transfer will go live? Looking to get off of gilgamesh
For me and mine, I can say that we don't get 2002d as often as we used to, and the que from 4000+ to entry tends to last us between and hour to 90mins due to no interruptions (clarify: during that 2-4pm window- we work from 4 through the night so can’t tell ya those numbers)
This is only the first day, and we were testing during the early peak hours so ofc we'll need more time to discern if it wasn't just good luck XD
We never really experienced the other errors that we're connected to our wi fi connection just acting an arse.
Game still runs smooth once you're in, low congestion/load lag etc.
Play when you guys can, and if you're feeling hopeless/feel like you're getting overly stressed, take a step back and enjoy something else. The experience you paid for will be waiting for you even if you unsub for a bit. SE and the devs seem to be doing what they can as they see fit, so we just do the same on our part.
The long queue times is a huge issue. The queue kick outs is just another layer to the issue. Spending hours to just get in isnt normal and games shouldn't accept it regardless of how popular it is. They knew how many players to expect in the pre orders. They should have fixed it then.
I'm unable to play at all during the week because when I get home, theres a massive queue. Long periods of being unable to play due to that same company inability to fix the issue in a timely matter will lose a huge following.
I'm still getting the 2002 error I wish the Oceanic servers were opened up
Didn't fix anything, queued right when I got home from work, was like 6900…Error 2002'd and logged back in to 8300 in queue.
I suggest you guys play 1am in the morning 🌄. You're be 100 percent guaranteed to play it.
i received a 2002 error an hour ago.
Still seeing 2002's
If they do not fix queue times in the next week, sub numbers are going to crash… Casual players have no time for 30+ minutes in queue
Yeah, I just tried to logged in, server was hanging and bam, 2002 error.
" we are going to fix the error issues " oh look error 2002 again while I went to get food; you know , I dont blame the people using mouse files to stay login; if i login in the morning, go to work, and my character still be in the game, I would do it too 100%.
I logged in earlier and it was fine. However I attempted to log in 5pm est 2000+ in queue I was almost in and I got the lobby error and back to square one.
I was 1250th place in queue, got kicked and came back in at 5239
Worse than ever for me.
Now I’m 50% on even connecting to the data centre. Then it’s the same 3 – 4K queue and full kick out after sitting in the queue for about 1k.
I sat through a 2700 queue and did not get kicked out. It was really slow though, took almost 2 hours to log in. But didn't get kicked out at all.
Just got 2002 error myself
i played from about 1 pm to about 10 pm on friday, early release day. logged out for the day. and that was the last time i was able to play. i guess i am one of the wow refugees so this actually isnt that huge of an inconvenience to me. still today cant get past 4k. login to a 5.5 to 7k queue over multiple attempts, and each time getting 2002. as long as im not getting charged for the time im ok with it. not really cuz i wanna play. but still ok.
well 1 less you have to fight the queue with. ive had just about enough of sitting in front of my computer after work clicking rejoin and never getting in until I have to go to bed for work. ill be uninstalling this and cancelling this sub until this crap is sorted out, if at all.
I know some of u may have HOURS to wait, Some of us do not. It's annoying when people act like it's cool to wait HOURS to play a game that I paid for and pay a subscription for as well. Yes Getting kicked out of line sucks, I agree. But it sucks having to wait HOURS to play a game to begin with.
Been getting more 2002's since the patch than I had before. Cant say I feel any change they may have taken. Sorry this is a fail, it's worse today
