First time I saw the mouths on the ground I thought they were coffins or something and someone was inside calling out

Vrtra's just so different compared to all the other dragons. Where Nidhogg absolutely despised humans and Hraesvelgr wanted nothing to do with them (albeit with rather valid reasons), Vrtra cared for these people, and his home, also speaking their language as oppose to the dragonkinds. He's a nice breath of fresh air.
