I spent the last 6 months in the hospital. I was forced to take a break, and now that I'm about to start 6.4 and catch up to everyone, I'm glad life forced me to step back.
FFXIV really does make it easy to take long breaks and jump right back in. Hell, the first thing I did after logging back in wasn't jumping into the tomestone grind–I hit up Gold Saucer to play a Bard concert and crash some gates.😂
I missed this game. I can't wait to catch up in time for Dawntrail.

Just earlier tonight, I finished Myths of the Realm – my last remaining unexplored content besides savages (which I don't really care to try) and just grinding everything to 90.
I'll keep playing, but probably a LOT more casually after tonight…. simply put, I feel like I'm pretty much done. At least for now.
I just finished my last Splendorous tool two days ago. It took me about a month and a half to get all of them. It was also my first experience with expert recipes and I just about gave up because I had no idea what I was doing lol. But after the third one, I started to get into a rhythm with it and I actually found it quite enjoyable once I figured out how it works.
