13:20 I could watch this scene over again. Our conversation between mother and son/daughter is one of my all time favorites of FF14. Also when she says: "Has your journey been good? Has it been worthwhile?" that was a very important question. Still, it makes me happy while watching this.

I dont think the echo comes from meteion, but from Dynamis and triggered by the emotional impact the final days had on our souls. not everyone gets the echo from the meteor shower but are instead overwhelmed by emotions feeling like theyve lost something dear to them, they just dont know what. meteion has a power similar because she was made of and given the ability to manipulate Dynamis, which the universe is comprised of.

"Fun" fact: Remember at the end of the Crystal Tower storyline Nero received a transmition from somewhere other than Eorzea? Well, it was in Morse Code and someone about 2 years ago , before EndWalker was even announced, dechiphered it and it said "ITS ALL WRONG".

Oho, I've come across a rare moment when RaptorChan's lore knowledge is lacking?!? I know that Endwalker was a bit of a mind-bender and they've certainly been retconning bits and pieces about the "Echo" and the "Blessing of Light" for years now but Elidibous clearly explained to us in 5.2 that "the echo" is just a shadow of the power that ALL of the Ancients possessed which is awakened by being exposed to a recreation of the Final Days because the event is seared upon the soul so deeply that experiencing it again can awaken a small portion of the power that everyone once possessed.

The echo is an Ancients power. In Shadowbringers they say that since we are fragmented it may or may not show naturally but it can be awakened. Venat using the meteor shower of the final days to awaken warriors of light throughout the ages. Elidibus also does it in Shadowbringer patches. As Venat shows for the warrior it takes some concentration to use the echo, conversely she has no problems activating it or controlling it.
As we learned more of Meteion and dynamis itself, I found myself wondering 'so Meteion shares consciousness with countless others, all now literally worlds apart, and they are very susceptible to emotion, as was shown much earlier when Hermes was distressed about the past Fandaniel stepping down… did another civilization, in another star, get their hands on Meteion and subject her to suffering of some sort? Did it happen to various other Meteia?'
I suppose, all told, I wasn't too far off the mark. She may not have been directly captured or anything… but, well…
